"Worked great", Although they want it rated as a game... dur. Anyways, was having issues getting Gameshark to do anything, this worked like a charm. And it's easy to update the codes if you have a zip drive. It says you can do that through the Gameshark as well, but again, I was having issues with both of mine and it wouldn't take the codes.

"AWESOME IT WORKS!", I like hacking games like in resident evil code veronica you can hack to where you're playing first person more resident evil (after you make it to that pick up thing you can't play first person mode anymore lol) hacking resident evil outbreak was fun to woohoo Hitman freezes up sometimes but it's ok with me Stretch Panic has barely any cheats grand theft auto san andreas hacking is fun to the max! That's all.

"Much better than Gameshark for PS2 slim", I had a Gameshark 2 for my PS2 slim and it always had a hard time booting up. No such problems with the Codebreaker. Also, all I have to do is plug in my PS2 to a network jack and I can download more current codes for the games I want to play. Or cheat at.

"Codebreaker works, but cheating has it's drawbacks", The Codebreaker is a fine tool for most applications. You insert the disc before you start the game, choose your game from the list provided and highlight the cheats you desire. If your game is not listed, hop online and find the necessary codes to enter manually. There is also a day one option I have not explored but involved downloading the cheats the day the game comes out so you don't have to type them in. Once you have your cheats, take out codebreaker and put in the game. It'll start with the cheats ready to go.

The cheats work fine for most games but on occasion they cause the game to crash, fail or lock due to programming errors and non intentional outcomes of the cheats. If your character falls into a lava pit and SHOULD have died instantly, she won't, but you're still stuck in a pit you cannot escape.

Also, each time you restart the game you have to switch discs back to codebreaker and re-select the cheats.

Other than the occasional freeze up of the game it works fine and makes many games more enjoyable. I recommend this product to anyone who likes to win fast, or a guy like me who likes playing games but doesn't have 8 hours a night to master it.

"THE PRODUCT ARRIVED ON TIME BUT IT DIDN'T WORK", I received the Codebreaker Disc on time, but Pelican Accessories doesn't notice that there are two versions of Codebraker Disc, one from China and another from United States.

The Chinese version that I bought them didn't work for my PS2 slim. In other words, I threw my money to the trash can... :-(

"WARNING!!!!", Well, I took the time to ask the store associates about this product but that was a waste because the kid didn't know anything about it and couldn't answer one of my questions. So I took a chance and bought it anyway. Big mistake. This product DOES NOT WORK on ALL PS2 systems. I put the disc in and it just came up as a "Disc read error". I have a regular version of the PS2 ( not a slim one ) and it will NOT work on my system, yet the game stores sell this product with no warning. I called the Codebreaker manufacturer and they explained to me that it will not work on every PS2 system. If you do buy this, save the receipt.

"Best Ever !!!!!!!", Don't even waste your money on anything else. This code breaker is the best ever!!! It has games old and new. It has mainly every code that you can think of. The only bad thing about this code breaker is that they never advertised it so that i could've bought it sooner!!! but yeah this is the best ever.

"It rocks!!!", I got it 'cause I was getting killed in Final Fantasy X. This product had all these cheats which made the game a whole lot easier. This has all the latest cheats since September 2006. All the other ones you'll have to input yourself or transfer the file. It's worth the money. And the delivery was fast too. I got it in 4 days with regular shipping!

"No problems", Bought one for myself years ago and never had a problem other than the usual. Usual means that you can expect an occasional freeze or a corrupted file, but I've never lost a memory card or vital files. In fact, I have my SNAKE EATER files all saved onto a usb drive. They work just fine.
You have to remember that you are messing with the very fabric of the game's structure. You will inevitably hit something that will cause errors (especially if you use complex codes, alot of codes, or put saving with codes into the equation).
Updating is a snap using the usb drive. Bought RE4 when it came out a year later and the update worked fine (handcannon go boom!).
All in all, a great product that beats the snot out of the GAMESHARK I used to own.

"piece of crap", it didn't even work on my ps2. It said disk read error. So, I don't recommend this to anyone. get an action replay or gameshark. Don't buy this product. It's a waste of money
