"Easy to install, easy to use.", This will save you a ton of money if you are getting Office 2007. You can install this and then get the Office 2007 upgrade for a very cheap price. I highly recommend it.

"Installed smoothly. Works great.", All I really wanted was the word processor in Works. I have had MS Word on other computers and it is great, but this version included with Works-8 does everything I want to do.

"New Software", I have enjoyed this product. It was easy to install. I was able to complete all of the end of the year paper work at home that I could not have gotten done at school. Also, I have been able to creat letters, flyers, trading cards, and an outstanding newsletter.

"Highly UNDER rated.", Have been using Works for years - It can do so much more than it is advertised to do. The database can do complex formulas as can the spreadsheet. It is more than "a home project" software, although it is good for that, too. You get a lot of "bang for your buck" with Works!

Read this reviews before You buy...

"Easiest programs to run, wouldn't trade it for anything", I have used Microsoft Works on numerous computers over the years and find it has the best and easiest programs to run. Easy to understand and use for alot of different applications. I have used Word and do not care for it.

"Inadequate", Having just paid [...] for this product, I expected the word processing component to have at least the basics. Wrong. To me, the ability to easily format a business or legal document with "page x of y" at the bottom of the page seems pretty fundamental. Well, Works 8.5---unlike other Microsoft word processor versions or programs---does not provide that choice. Without this basic a "feature", you might as well simply use Wordpad.

I cannot comment on other abilities this program has or doesn't have, or, on the spreadsheet or database modules, because I simply don't want to spend any more time on this.

Recommendation: Go to OpenOffice.org and get Open Office for FREE.

"microsoft works", Amazon is easy to access, easy to order from. It's also easy to find what you are looking for. Amazon also has great shipping.
I have been very happy with anything I have ordered from Amazon.

"It works", Microsoft Works 8 is good. There is one exception to it fulfilling all my needs. When I use the spreadsheet the system does not allow me to use my printer. It is a very inexpensive system. But one has to get Word (with it's spreadsheet) rather than Works, if you want to print your spreadsheet (and Word spreadsheet costs about ten times as much). At least, that is the way I found it.

"Great for Home Office or Small Business", This is a really great bargain. The spreadsheets are easy to use with built-in formulas just like excel, instead of paying hundreds of dollars. This was better than I expected for the money. Excellent product, would highly recommend it for any home business, small business or everyday budgets, events and home bookkeeping. This is a 5 Star program.
