"Not the best but not the worst", The game is entertaining, but lacks a lot. Mostly check points. It is very frustrating to get the end of the level just to have to start all the way over. Graphics are ok. You just have to give the game a chance and get used to it.

"Awsome Tac game", based on the original hit game. jungle storm reaches new hights for the series. featuring prototype weapons and lone wolf single-player missions. its a game to be recond with.

"It's not all that bad.", Now, I gotta say, this is the first Ghost Recon I've ever played. So it's hard for me to compare it to the rest of the series (except I've seen Advanced Warfighter, and I was not impressed). I had a fun time playing the game the first time around, but the re-play factor is not so great. I like the realistic approach to the weapons and tactics of war as displayed by this game. I also like how you can't survive this game by the stupid run and gun strategy that most first person shooters allow you to use. The graphics were pretty good, too. So this definitely is not the ideal game, but it isn't all as bad as some make it seem.

"HUGE LET DOWN!", GHOST RECON IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE GAMES. THIS GAME AND GHOST RECON JUNGLE STORM ARE PITIFUL IMITATIONS OF THAT GAME. I PAID LESS THAN $4.00 FOR EACH OF THEM AND THEY STILL ARE NOT WORTH THE PRICE I PAID. BUY THEM AT YOUR OWN RISK.

"What happened to the GHOSTS!? Dissapointed completely..", First let me start by saying that I LOVED Ghost Recon 1!Ghost Recon 2 however, is a nightmare, and I am completely disappointed. Why? The first and foremost reason is that GR2 has completely lost is sense of intelligent stealth Recon game play. When playing against the computer in campaign mode you are forced into a pidgeon hole entry consisting of a hail of bullets from the enemy on each mission! No more going through the mountains to stealth kill or snipe you enemy! No more suprise attacks. No more traveling anywhere you please on the map! You are literally forced through a tight one track space every time to reach the enemy!! This allows your enemy to see you coming every time a mile away! For this reason the game play is impossible and very unrealistic; any small combat military team would not enter a hornets nest though the front door as you are forced to do with this ridiculous game! One star is for the increased intelligence of your combat team members, and increased graphics. However little help they are when your out numbered 10 to 1 and forced to fight the enemy head on. In other words when you see that valley or path through the woods to suprise assault you enemy, forget it, you can't go there. Every possibility to improve Ghost Recon 1 was ignored by eliminating the ONE BASIC ELEMENT OF small team U.S. Special Forces combat missions; the element of suprise and stealth. Second of all the action character you play in this game is slow and clumsy; the enemy engages faster than my guy will move! I find my self yelling at my guy; get up and shoot!!! This game is like a boring slower version of Duke Nukem! Excuse me while I whip this disk against the wall. For the creator of this wasteful game: Go back to the drawing board you; what were you thinking!?? Bring back the realism and stealth.. PLEASE! The Ghosts are gone! Purchase this game if you love the feeling of going down a ONE WAY street, THE WRONG WAY, and getting shot at!

"Great game", One of the best shooter games of all times. Equal to if not better then SOCOM. Plus you can save as you go if your smart enough to figure out how to pause and save. Worth the $29. If you think your good, like I did, play online and get schooled.






"XBOX version is the ONLY version!!!", I'm shocked reading these posts of people saying how terible GR2 is...Sure the single player missions are boring but most people buy this game to play online which by far is one of the best online game out there. 10X better than Gaylo, and for the people who disagree that it's not fun to play it online let me ask you this. Why is it always within the top 4 games played on XBOX Live?
My suggestion is to really only get this game to play on XBOX LIVE. You won't find a better game out there right now.

The only reason I give 4 stars is because I hate the stupid frick'n lag, & the Red X..Any GR2 player knows what I'm talking about...Ubisoft needs to fix thier server problems.

So everyone who says the game sucks, play it online a few times then write a review. I bet your revised review will be a lot diffrent.

Oh and one more rant... Sure GR2 is gonna suck if you play it on PS2 because PS2 is garbage compared to XBOX. I've not played the lame PS2 version because I feel everyone should wake up and dump their poopy PS2. Buy an XBOX...

"What did you do to the Ghosts?", I don't know what they did to the Ghosts, but I want my killers back. I was a HUGE fan of the original GR games for the PC, but I decided to give GR2 a try on the PS2.

A typical Clancy squad-based shooter, a cross between Rainbow Six 3 and Ghost Recon, but losing the good stuff from each. Missions are incredibly linear - one route to the objective, one way to get the job done, end of story. Your squad from GR has been reduced in size to a Rainbow Six fireteam of three AI teammates. Your teammates lack the skill and efficiency of the Rainbow operators, though. You've heard of the new "Army of One?" Get ready to be one - these soldiers can't shoot, can't move, and can't make a decision. A watched two of them blaze away for twenty seconds at a North Korean soldier standing up in the open and couldn't hit him.

The story is weak. The pre-mission brief and planning are non-existent. Play is clunky, and you have very limited commands to issue your troops. Your own Ghost moves very clumsily.

I want to stay a fan of the GR series, but they're making it hard...

"..Horrible", Wow! This game looks great! When it comes out i've got to buy it!

Yeah, the commericals made this game look way better than it is, it almost was made to look better than SOCOM II...

Well, awhile back I rented this game to give it a shot. I absolutely hated this game fromt he start. Here are the reasons: Totally unacceptable loading times, they litterally take up to 2 or 3 minutes each time. The camera view: the angle you play your character at is horrible. Its like you are playing over his shoulder, and it's just really hard to control him. Also bad thing about this game is how the map is useless and doesn't tell you how to complete the missions, so you have to use your head.

Don't buy this game, as a favor to me and you're well earned money.
