"DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!", This game is not even worth the $5 I paid for it. All you do is run around barrels. It's boring, the animation stinks, and overall it's just a horrible game. I got this for my kid sister for her birthday and the both of us, horse lovers and horse computer game lovers, could not have been more disappointed. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME! "Don't buy it", I'm sorry, this game was really disapointing! I LOVE barrel racing, but this game was the worst I've ever played. The people's faces look like plaster, and all around the game is just to short! AND NOTHING TO DO! (plus the horses look pretty freaky too) I bet it would be good for really young kids (like 3-7) or something, but not good for older people. If you want a really good barrel racing one, try "Let's Ride! Silver Buckle Stables." It's MUCH MUCH better!!!!

"VERY BAD!!!", I got this and was highly dissapointed. All you can do is barrel race, you can not ride on ANY trails, and the person looks goofy!
Dont waste your money on this game!!

"The best game ever", This game was so much fun there were so many horses and different hats and shoes for the rider that you could pick from and you could practice bye going around the barrels in the pasture then when you finished the competitons and your one of the best fire works go off and you walk around the areana this game was so much fun

"Take my advice!!!", first of all you don't actually take care of your horse all you can do with it is feed it a carrot or apple and change it's saddle pad and saddle. and i beat the game in like 45 minutes practicing is reeeeeeaaally boring after like twice. you can basically finish the game in like a one hour sitting. dont buy this game and save yourself 20.00

"It's okay, but there are so many other better games...", I beat this game in one hour. You don't take care of your horse. There is no plotline, you just ride in the competition or the practice ring. This might be great for a younger fan or novice equestrian, but of the games I have played, Saddle Up: Time To Ride and Saddle Up with Pippa Funnell are the best riding games out there.

"Fun but short", You start out in the game by clicking new game. It takes you into the stable and shows you the person you'll be playing. You can change her hat, shirt, hair, pant, boots, and name. Then you click on a button that says something like Go to Horse and then they take you to a horse. On the horse you can change the coat, mane, saddle, pad, and name. You can only change the name once. After that you are stuck with it. You can also groom your horse by brushing it and feeding it an apple or carrot. After all of that there is a Lets Ride button, click on that and then this little menu shows up. You can go practice in a corral, go to a competition, or go practice in the pasture. In the pasture they give you different challenges that you have to complete. At the beginning they are really hard, but after a while they are easy. In the competitions you have to run around three barrels. It is the exact same in every competition. The only difference is that the times of the other people change. This is a fun game at first, but after that it is just really boring. Hope this review helped you.

"Not the best, but still okay", This game is the only Western one I've seen, and it's pretty good when you start it. It doesn't take much time to finish, though, and you just race around barrels (which actually is a real-life riding game). In the championships, the three barrels are always in the same place. The pasture riding has more to do. The main challenge is making the tight turns and getting to the finish line before the time runs out. The horses look much like ponies, and they don't need any care at all. You can brush or feed them apples or carrots if you want. The scrapbook didn't work very well, but you should go to ValuSoft.com if this happens or you have any other problems. Once you get used to this game, it's really easy. Overall it's good, but don't buy it for more than $10. The Saddle Up games are harder, but they're a whole lot better.

"Short game, not worth the money.", I got this game for Christmas a while back, and only recently did I start playing with it again. This game is the easiest to beat, and I have no doubts at all that a four year old could beat the game within a few hours.

First of all, "decorating" your character is just picking the color of your character's shirt, pants, hat, and shoes. Which, by the way, is not a large selection. The horses lack selection aswell.

Second of all, there are only three options when you finally start the game. You can practice, show, or do the impossible stunts in the pasture.
PRACTICING: Simply being timed while running around three barrels. Gets pretty boring.
SHOWING: The same barrels and same competition everytime. Even the scenery is the same, no matter what competition, but oh, the colors sometimes change.
PASTURE: First in the barrels, then impossibly timed patterns.

There is also a glitch that occurred on my game, where you could get a zebra or a giraffe (colored) horse. I got both while I could, which made the game a little more fun. But then, once I beat the game with both, it seemed useless to keep them.

Once you beat the last show, that's the only show that you can go back too. It's extremely easy to beat this game, except for the pasture patterns, which are just frustrating.

DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. It is NOT worth it's price. As a Western rider myself, I am sorely dissapointed in just about the only western horse game made.
