"Great Conversation Starter", APPLES TO APPLES is a fun game that is very helpful in starting conversations and getting to know other players better. I've played it with people from nine to ninety-two and they all could participate and enjoy the game though the older set needed more explantion about pop culture and the younger needed more vocabulary defined. To be fair each card does explain the significance of the given word, phrase or person. And after all it just comes down to goofy fun in the end anyway.

"So fun!!", This is hands down the funnest game I've ever played! The more people the better!!

"A Great Party Game", As sceptical as I first was when I saw the box, Apple to Apples has turned into a favorite at game nights my husband and I host. This game really helps loosen up the crowd and players get to learn a lot about other player's humor type and intellect. I have also played this with my family, and while my 12 year old brother doesn't always know what some of the cards mean, we all thoroughly enjoy it!

"Seriously Fun Game", A surprise hit! I have yet to find anyone who doesn't enjoy this game. We take it with us to family gatherings as well as get-togethers with friends - it can be played on several different levels! Easy to learn and it keeps conversation going. Just plain fun. I just bought the junior version for my son for Christmas!

"Fun game for more people", Great game without much preliminary instructions! Plays better with 5 people because the judge typically doesn't play. Fun with the right crowd!

"Outstanding Family Fun", On the advice of my grandson, I purchased the game, 'Apples to Apples', and took it on our family reunion vacation. Ten of us played late into the night and we can't wait to get together to play it again. Great fun! While some cards were a tad over the heads of the younger players, the cards matched to them helped the boys understand the original card. It's less about competition than about laughing and sharing. It's good for all ages!

"Unexpected fun for the whole family", Each family member has favorite "instant win" cards, all different and all with hilarious reasons behind the selection. Have both expansion sets too. Great fun no matter what age. Everybody loves to be the judge!The bigger trhe group, the more crazy the answers get! We've learned that the most logical match is often NOT the judges choice. Random answers are cool!

"great", a great game to play with friends or a small group of students...it tricks them into learning grammar...ha ha!

"Very fun party game. ", The more people you have the more fun the game is. There are no wrong or right answers. The judge chooses the answer they like best. The answers can be so funny you will have a lot of laughs with minimal brain work.

"Very enjoyable game", Expensive, but well worth it. We have played this game for a month, and will continue to do so. It is easy to learn and you can play for hours. All you do is match an adjective like "beautiful" with a noun like "Madonna". There's plenty of time for friendly diagreement b/w rounds.I highly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys board games.
