"mediocre at best", I bought the weedeater a year ago at a local home improvement store. I don't like dragging an extension cord around behind me so I thought I'd give this a try. I have a 1400sf ranch style home that I trim around, and I trim the curb along the front which is only a little longer than the house as homes here are about 15' apart. I also trim along the driveway which is about 2 car lengths long. The second battery barely finishes the job. Since the charger I got only charges one battery at a time, I have to remember to switch them out during the week so I have two fresh batteries to do my trimming each week. Until I get around to wiring in some outside outlets and go back to using the plug in type weed trimmers I'm making due with this one.

"Black & Decker Lawn Care Trio", All three items work great. I am glad I got the trio so that I have extra battery's. I seem to go through more then 1 when usings any of the items before done with a small/medium sized yard. I would purchase again. If looking for a very strong/powerful set of equipment stay with gas! Definately sacrificed power for electric & portability.

"B&D Yard Tools", Pros: Nice value for this group of yard tools, The (3) Batteries icluded is great for extended use of a single tool if needed, also allows for multiple tools to work at the same time. Convenience of the cordless tool is a plus, as is the included Tool storage.

Cons: Need about 3 feet wide of wall space near an electrical outlet for storage of tools and charger (if wall mounted). Weed Eater lacks cutting muscle and auto string feed mechanism could be improved.


"Tools", Great for the yard, best battery life I have come across if you take proper care of charging them. This is my second set in ten years and only because the package was cheaper than buying extra batteries, all the original tools still work great.

"My 2 cents...", No problem with this seller, string trimmer can handle regular lawn <.5 acre, after that battery goes low. Leaf blower has only on/off, not variable speed which would be nice.

"GREATEST GARDEN TOOLS EVER!", All 3 tools are exactly what I needed. My favorite is the blower. One of the reviewers commented that the blower was more like a toy - I totally disagree. I have fall leaves that are everywhere - deck, carport, front yard, back yard, long winding driveway....it used to take me hours to rake and sweep. It now takes me 30 minutes to do it all.

I have no problem with the batteries. They last long enough for what I need to do - and if one is wearing down, I plug that one back in and grab another one to finish the job.

The hedge trimmer and weed whacker are great as well. Again, what used to take me half a Saturday has been reduced to less than 2 hours. The cordless capability is absolutely fantastic - no cords or gas - and the noise level is not even an issue. The tools are lightweight and extremely easy to use.

This lawncare center is one of the best deals out there. I couldn't be happier.

"Excellent for Small yards", This set works excellent for small yards, power of weed eater and trimmer are excellent, the blower is fine but not as powerful. And the best, there is no need for handling gas. You can not match this price if purchase separately, and you would not get the storage rack. If your yard is small to medium, this tool set is perfect.

"Battery Calamity", Batteries are terrible ..lucky to get 5 minutes use per battery after first few uses..Beware!

"Easy start weed eater", Battery operated lawn tools are the only way to go. They are easy to start and easy to operate. I would not have any thing else. Battery powered is the way to go. GO BATTERY POWER!

"Does the job!", I bought this 3 months ago and it has worked great! I live in a typical suburban neighborhood with bermuda grass. I usually have to use all three batteries, but it easily trims and edges all of the parts of my lawn. The hedge trimmer works great also. I can trim all of the bushes in my yard in just a few minutes. It is surprisingly powerful and was able to get through some of the thicker branches. If you have lots of thick, woody weeds or a large lot, this might not be for you. If you live in a typical sub, this will do the job.
