"It's worth the money.", We've had this for two years and it's still fun.
All ages can play.. modify it up for the older kids or adults.. simplify it for the younger kids.
It does seem to be a long game... we have yet to ever fill all the holes on the purple playing pieces. The playing pieces are all purple and look alike. They need to brighten these up a bit to stay with the colorful theme.

"Price Reality check...", This is one of the best games we have ever played. I have to wonder however why it would cost $49.98 here and$9.98 on Toysrus.com?

"We Love It!", My son got this for his 5th and we have had a great time. We've returned many other games because after one time playing it gets boring. But not this game. My son always likes to play. And the timer music is so happy sounding you can't help but to have a good time while your playing



"Pieces", Lots of little pieces. Kids don't like to pick up the little pieces, but sure love to scatter them all over. When my grandkids (ages 4&5) go home, I am left with the pieces. I don't like this game.


"Fantastic fun", Bought this for my 5-year old, and he plays with it at least once a week, each time friends come for a playdate, they have to play with it; it's fun, instructions are easy, game never the same, sturdy and pretty! Great game, thoroughly recommend it!!

"Best Cranium game EVER!!!!!!!!!(You really use your cranium!)", I am 9 1/2 and I LOVE THIS GAME!!!!!! My friendhad a back-to-school sleepover party and Me, my friend Lexie, and my friend Annalee played it in the morning,(It was the first time I played) and It's so easy, I didn't even have to learn instructions!!!! I just watched them play theirturn and got the hang of it! If you LOVE Cranium games like me,YOU WILL LOOOOOOVE BALOON LAGOON!!!!!!!!! First you pick your peice. Next,When it's your turn, you spin the marry-go-round.(Included in set.) Then, It stops at....YOUR CHALLENGE!!! You hit the top of the marry-go-round and it plays music. You try to finish your challenge before the music ends. If you successfully complete the challenge before the music ends, you pick a balloon and stick it in one of the holes in your game peice. If you get all the holes filled before anyone else, you win the game!

"Crowdpleaser, active, charming game!", My five-year-old said it best,"This game is the best game I have ever played!" Great when one or more players cannot read, hold a hand of cards, or write. The contests are of skill and luck, just like a real carnival, complete with circus-like attractions and theme music. We play again and again, as we do so many of our cranium games! Teaches sportsmanship and friendly competition, too.

"Cranium does it again", At our house, we love the cranium games. We have 2 boys (6 and 8) and they have fun with it. My 6 year old loves it more than my 8 year old. He loves the music of the carousel and he doesn't get frustrated with it. He always wants to play with everyone. This is for sure his favorite game!!

"Cranium Balloons", I bought Carnium Balloon for my grandson and he absolute loved it. Easy to play and a fun game.

"Great fun for a 4 year old and 2 year old.", Our daughter just received this for her 4th birthday and she has requested to play this EVERYDAY!

It has four stations where you have to do something different at each station to win balloons. Stations are dice rolling (put the dice into the top of the hut and it will slide out of the door), fishing to spell a four letter word (no need to know how to spell), frog hopping (flip the back of the frog into their pond) and pressing down on four levers to match up pictures. There is also the "circus tent" in the center that acts as your timer.

All of the stations are fairly easy to do and fun. There is a bit of a problem flipping the frogs for everyone young and old.

Our two year old has to be a part of everything. He doesn't understand the game but while the actual player is playing in one station, the two year old is playing any of the other three keeping everyone happy. It's also durable enough for him.

Educational wise, it teaches them how to spell four letter words and simple and easy counting (they should already know this). Frog flipping is the hardest but it teaches our daughter to calm down and take things slow. The first time she tried, she got upset right away. We told her to slow down and try again. She did and flipped all four frogs in (she hasn't done it since but she knows that she can do it). The spinning wheels takes a bit of getting use to for her. While we adults can spin all four wheels, she will spin one at a time and wait to see if it matches the picture she choose. We taught her to try to press all four levers as quickly as possible but to notice when she got the desired picture and to not press that lever. I'm not and educator or doctor but I think it works on hand eye coordination.

One of the most important things is the center circus tent. Our two year old loved to press the top of the tent down to make the music. That starts to get on your nerves but if you press the top again, it turns it off! I was so happy to know that. It also helps if you press the tent too early and need to restart.

Also good to note - for any Cranium game, if you lose or need replacement parts, just go to their website to order additional parts. You can literally order the every piece of this game except the board the pieces sit on (if you need those, just better to buy a new game and save the other pieces). For every Cranium game we own, I have ordered every replacement part, just in case. With a two year old who likes to fling and throw things around and a four year old who likes to walk around with her little things this is a life saver.

Overall I think this is a great game. Although my daughter doesn't always win the most balloons, she still wants to play it. It will be given to all four year olds as a birthday gift.
