"Glad we bought this", Great product. We have a two-month old who usually wants to be held, sometimes for hours. Now we put her in the swing and she's happy there most of the time. She can sleep and play in it. It's a sturdy product with many great features.

The only drawback is that it seems to go through batteries pretty quickly. We've had the swing for less than a month and the batteries are dying. It would have been nice to be able to plug it in to a power outlet.

"Great for some hands free time!", I finally broke down and bought this for my son a few weeks ago when he was a little over a month old. When he is in a good mood he loves to stare at the mirror and the rotating mobile. It can keep him happy for about 20 minutes and he will sometimes fall asleep in it. After weeks of constantly holding him it can be very helpful for some hands free time to do things like make dinner etc. However, it's not a miracle swing because if he is grumpy he is unlikely to stop crying just because he is in the swing ;) Still, I would recommend it. I haven't had to replace the D batteries yet and we've used it quite a bit. There is a noise associated with the rocking/motor but it isn't that loud and is overpowered by the music/noises if you turn it up. I like all the options for music/noise. I think he likes the music choice best but the crickets etc. are a nice alternative.

"My baby stays calm", My baby loves this swing. We've been using it since he was born. This frees me up during the day to get chores done and I love this product. The only con is that the motor is not silent, like some previous reviewers noted. It makes a creaking/clunking sound- almost like a moving train. But, then again, that seems to calm the baby and help him sleep. I highly recommend this swing.

"Baby loves it too much", This swing has been a godsend for our colicky one. It was the only way she'd sleep outside our arms for the first few months. The only problem now is she's 4.5 months and won't sleep anywhere else! Also, I wish this swing had an a/c adaptor. Luckily we use rechargeable batteries, but when they run out in the middle of the night it can be a real pain. I only wish Fisher price would make a larger one b/c I'm not sure how she'll sleep once she outgrows this.

"beautiful but...", I love this papasan swing. I looked everywhere for it since babiesrus doesn't have it, only the girly pink one. I noticed amazon had the best price by far as well. The swing is exactly how I expected and I love how it plugs in or uses batteries. It matches the baby room perfectly too. Cutest swing I've seen out there. The only giltch is it was hard to put together from the directions. The directions were pretty self explanitory, except when it was time to put the legs to the actual cradle. Even my husband struggles with it over an hour. It doesn't say in the instructions that they have to snap in place...and we couldnt tell if they were backwards or not. Other than that, everything else is perfect.

"Great Swing!", This is a really nice swing. I use to have the Fisher Price fish swing. We had two and both died on us. This one has so much more room to them. It is also really nice that it plugs into an outlet. No more rechargable batteries! The one draw back is that the star light is quite bright. So when my baby tried to go to sleep in a dark room it blinds her!

"Fisher-Price Papasan Cradle Swing.", This is a great product. I love it. It does not plug into the wall so I'm worried about batteries. But it is a great buy.

"LOVE this swing!", I held my newborn all the time because it seemed once I put her down, she'd get a little fussy. I was trying to heal from a c section and very tired and my back was killing me. A friend suggested this swing because it has the option to swing side to side instead of head to toe direction which some babies don't seem to like. My daughter has loved it from day one. I got it when she was a month old and now she's four months old and I use it all the time. She takes daytime naps in it once or twice a day and she LOVES the mobile. My back loves this swing also. Fairly easy to assemble.

"Good swing", Our baby has been enjoying it and fell asleep in it quite a few times when she was sleepy. The adjustable speed comes out handy. We would use the highest level to get the swing in motion as soon as possible in a few seconds, and go back to the lowest to get the speed we ususally use for our baby. I only wish there could be more choices for music. Also, the safety belt is too short maybe because ours is a big baby; we were only able to buckle one of her legs which made us a little nervous. Anyway, we have been satisfied with this swing.

"So good, but so bad", This swing is hard to give a rating for me.

Our baby loves it. He loves to look up at the mobile and mirror above him. I feel that he is secure and stable in the swing. The batteries seem to last quite a while-we use rechargeables for this. All of these things give it 5 stars in my book.

But... on our swing-and I've noticed on a few other reviews-as it rotates around the top, the mobile gets hung up on the bar that holds the seat and makes a sharp, loud clunking noise. This noise continues until you physically move it just a bit. In the meantime, the peaceful angel resting below is startled awake. There are these little animals that spin and go up and down as they rotate around the mirror. The timing must be just off or something that they get caught in mid-spin. It's really too bad, because our baby loves the mobile.
