"Best purchase for my granddaughter", She absolutely loved this DVD. It was worth every penny to see the look on her face on her birthday when she opened it. She wanted to stop opening presents and go watch her movie.

"It might drive you crazy but .....", it's worth it to see your daughter dancing and singing along. I rented it at the library to see if my daughter (3 years old) would enjoy it. She LOVED it! That's why I gave it 5 stars. It wasn't the best copy, kept skipping so I broke down and bought it. And, moms & dads it will drive you a little nuts but it's better then the Disney movies I think. "Great dvd!", My daughter is almost three and really enjoys this video! Like others have mentioned, you don't have to worry about forwarding through the "scary" parts. It is just good clean fun for kids to hear the music and sing and dance along. I highly recommend it!

"Disney Singing Fun!", Purchased and/or received this video for my 2 yr old. She just loves it. The songs are fun to dance and sing along with. Its fun for those that enjoy music and the Disney Princess.'

"Fun and entertaining", I purchased this one for my 4 year old daughter for Christmas, who's a BIG fan of the Disney Princesses.

At first I was a little dissapointed because I didn't want her to park infront of the T.V to listen to music. I think this is the only down side to it. I thought she will play and listen but it didn't turn out that way. I guess I will have to purchase some CDs as well.

Other than that, it is a great DVD for my big surprise. It have some of the most favorable Princesses songs, the most familiar ones in my opinion.
My daughter abselutely loves it, after few times of watching it she knows how to sing "A whole new world" word for word, our friends and family were very impressed. I found it very entertaining as well and we sing the songs from the DVD everywhere we go (of course she knows all the words and I am just trying to catch up).
My daughter loves it a lot, I think it is a great purchase for every little girl who loves the Princesses.

We have some of the princesses tales DVDs (short parts of princesses stories) which I think are terrible and unworthy. I was delighted of how fun this one was- songs from the original movies!

"My Daughter Loves It!", My daughter is 19 months old and loves this video. She dances to the songs and wants to watch it all the time. The songs are great and I'm sure as she gets older it will be wonderful having the lyrics displayed for her to sing along.

"A very cute intro to Disney Music", My husband came home with this this week for our 16 month old. My first reaction was, She is no where near old enough for this. Boy was I wrong. My daughter love this DVD. Which is saying alot because she has no patience or interest in TV.
She gets up and dances, she turns in circles and claps her hands. She has several princess dolls already and points the the princess she has.
Where I agree with earlier reviewers that the modern mixes and dance videos are a bit . . contrived, the music is bad, the dancers are terrible, my daughter really enjoyed them. She likes to watch the bigger kids dance around and tries to dance with them, she turns when they turn, she bends down when they do. So I just kept in mind that I was not the target demographic of this DVD.
I do wish they had stuck with Jimminy Cricket though throughout. We have an older Sing Along Songs on VHS and its structure and flow is a bit better. That is why I gave it a 4 instead of 5.
The menu is also very user friendly, though I do not understand the Fast play. We selected that and then had to sit through 20 minutes of preview and commercials . . not fast at all.

But still, all in all it was a very cute DVD and fun for my daughter.

"love it", my 2 year old daughter asks for this dvd every day. She loves to sing and dance. She loves and sits through every song except Beauty and the Beast which is smack in the middle of the dvd, but I just move to the next song for her. I recommend this to any child! It was a great present! I am now looking for more sing along dvd's that she will love.

"A Great DVD", My daughter is 2.6 years old and has just recently become interested in the Disney Princesses. The songs are pretty and upbeat. She loves to dance and sing along with the DVD. I recommend this to children who enjoy music.

"This is a REAL WINNER!!!", I almost didn't buy this DVD because of the negatives that were pointed out in other reviews. SO GLAD I BOUGHT IT!!!!! This ones a REAL WINNER in my opinion and I disagree with some of the negatives in other reviews. This DVD allows me to show my just turned 2 year old these wonderful music clips of her favorite Disney Princesses without having to keep rewinding my VHS tapes that I have collected for so many years. If you're looking for an AWESOME attention holder for your child, this worked for mine. I really enjoy it too. You can watch the song videos from beginning to end; select certain ones that you want to view; see children dance to three of the songs during which it switches back to the videos; sing karaoke; and more. Some negatives in other reviews I found to be positives: 1) The narrator is so nice sounding. Pleasing voice with nice introductions and endings to each song. She sounds like a nice Disney Grandmother storyteller. 2) The whole display is magical pure Disney in my opinion- even just the menu has colors that are nice for little girls with plenty of pinks and purples which are typically a favorite. 3) The children dancing to the three different songs which switch back and forth to the videos are VERY Cute! The kids do look like kids off the street and I think that is the whole point. Normal kids can identify with them. My little one dances up a storm and loves this part of the DVD. I admit, I find it cute, too. **The only negative I do have is my little one and me, too, are not fond of the Hercules videos. Could do without those. "Like Other Girls" from Mulan II is pretty funny and whacky. We like that one too. To summarize my negatives, we could do without 2 of the videos. Everything else about this DVD is very appealing. If I need to do something and have confidence that my little one is going to be glued to something and stay out of trouble, this DVD accomplishes that. At the same time, I don't think I'll get tired of hearing the songs. They're all great (minus the 2 I mentioned). This one gets a BIG THUMBS UP in my opinion!
