"Just what I was looking for", It is hard to find inexpensive carrying cases for 17" notebooks. All I was looking for was a simple case to get me from point A to point B on an occasional basis. This case fits the bill. It has plenty of room to fit my computer easily with all of the accessories. There is sufficient protection for minor bumps and dings that you might expect. And best of all, I didn't have to spend $75 or more to buy it.

"Worth for the price...", The product is packed nicely and arrived with no damages. I am quite satisfied with the backpack.

"Nice computer backpack but not good for air travel", If I didn't fly frequently, I would have rated this backpack higher since it's inexpensive, sturdy, light, roomy, well-made, and fairly well organized.
However, it is not the best choice for frequent flyers since the laptop compartment is along the back of the main compartment, which means it is very difficult to get your laptop out for the security screen if you have anything in the main compartment. (And the design and the angle of the top of the main compartment actually make it even more difficult than it should be!)
Since my lapop is small (14"), it still fits in the laptop compartment even when in a sleeve, so I've been able to work around this issue by putting files in the laptop compartment and keeping the laptop in the sleeve in the front of the main compartment until I go through the security screen. However this is not optimal and I am looking for a new bag for traveling since the entire idea of having a computer bag is to keep the computer in the compartment that is designed to protect it! (And it's also rather annoying to have to "repack" the bag after going through security.)

My oher main issue with the bag (and I have this issue with other Targus computer backpacks as well as most computer backpack by other manufacturers) is the fact that "Targus" embroidered on the front of the backpack in large letters in a contrasting color. Since part of the reason for using a computer backpack is that a backpack (in theory) isn't as obviously a computer bag as a roller, the prominent branding negates the "camouflage" since everyone knows Targus doesn't make regular backpacks.

"great value", This case is just what I needed. My laptop fits along with it's mouse. There are a couple of spots for pens and pencils and perhaps a calculator and maybe some papers. If what you want is a nicely padded lightweight case for your laptop and not much more then this should fill the need. A really great value for the money.

"Great quality but a wee bit small", The make of this backpack is quite high so I know it won't disentegrate like my last one. The description oversells the space however. I use it for carrying my laptop and papers/files back and forth from the office and on travel. The space for files is too narrow so you can't place files into those pockets, instead you wind up carrying files within the main compartment, which defeats the purpose of the filing space. Otherwise good backpack.

"Sturdy and long lasting - Best for student life", One of the best bags for Student life, holds a laptop, couple if big books and other computer accessories very comfortably. If you are looking for less expensive but a branded product for less than $30, this is it.

"Very Nice Bag For Laptop", The Targus bag is a very nice carry bag for my laptop. The bag is a soft material like bag, not a heavy leather-like bag. At first I was concerned that the soft bag would not adequately protect the laptop. However, I took the bag / laptop to California (from NY) and found that me and the bag got along very well together. It was easy to handle in the overhead bin on the airplane. The bag protected my laptop very well. It has a few compartments for papers and pencils and such. Now that I've used it, I like it.

"Case is just what I needed", This Targus bag is perfect for my 17" HP notebook. It's not too thick and serves its purpose well. It's nice to have a strap - a lot of notebook sleeves just have a zipper. Plus, there is room for a file or two and the power cords/mouse.

"Good bargain", I bought the bag at very low price and have been using it everyday for past 8 months. The bag is good and very useful.

Pros:
1. Many pockets to keep things.
2. Laptop 15.3 inches fits perfectly.

Cons:
1. Not water proof. Can sustain light rainfall.
