"NOT FOR NEWER IPODS", This WILL NOT WORK with an ipod video or a iphone or an ipod touch ( I tried it with all) I bought this to charge my iphone and it seemed like it had the correct attachment, however the other end is firewire which WILL NOT charge the iphone.....the iphone will say incompatible. I don't know why it matters but it does. Maybe if you have an old black and white ipod this will work

"Excellent", This is exactly what I was looking for, works great!! My dog chewed on the one I got with my iPod originally & had looked for a replacement. This is the only one that worked with my first generation iPod.

"Worked ok for a few months.. now doesn't work at all", The charger gives a nag screen each time you plug it in (1G Nano or 1G Video) that is a minor inconvenience, but the real problem is that it has completely stopped working about 4 months after we got it. It shows that it is charging my ipod and then the ipod shows that it is fully charged, but once it is unplugged it dies a few minutes later. The ipod can still be charged from other sources so it's not the ipod's fault. Also, watch out if you turn off/on your car while it is plugged in - on a new car with no other charger problems this seemed to cause my ipod to lock up. Also, not a problem with other chargers. I'm glad we just paid a few dollars for this.

"Very handy", This is very handy and works great. The picture doesn't show it but it comes with the cord that plugs into the charger and the ipod so you have everything you need in the car.

"not built to last", The product is very useful as long as it works. Less than one year after I got it, it stopped charging. Its become very loose, and unless i keep it pushed in by hand (impractical while driving) it doesnt charge.

"Perfect for charging on the go..", This is a great price when compared to other chargers (like a cell phone). It has really come in handy on long trips when my iPod's battery was close to dying. Works like a charm!

"Works pretty well and cheap!", Sometimes you just have to fiddle with the connection to the ipod or in the cigarette lighter, but then it works great.

"In a fix? Get it!", Too many times my kids have forgotten to plug in their ipods for updating/recharging. Although you can't update, you can use this car charger and still play the tunes. It has been great as a stop-gap!

"iPod Power Source for Car", This little gizmo plugs into cigarette lighter-like outlet in my car and powers my iPod when my battery gets low. It works just fine. No issues after several months of use.
