- Not compatible with PlayStation 2 consoles having model numbers beginning with SCPH-30xxx, SCPH-35xxx, or SCPH-39xxx unless you already have an IR receiver (SCPH-10160)
- For PlayStation 2 console model numbers SCPH-30001 and SCPH-35001, you will need a copy of the DVD remote control software disc and a Memory Card (8MB) (for PlayStation® 2). If you already own the IR receiver (and software disc where necessary), the ?Open/Close' and ?Reset' buttons on the remote will not function.
- With this remote you have control of the PS2's DVD function
- The remote is also compatible with most Sony DVD players

"Excelente!!!", Este control remoto me ha resultado perfecto para mi playstation 2 Slim debido a que solo lo utilizo para encender o apagar el aparato evitandome a mi tener que hacerlo manualmente, que por su inconveniente hace que tu playstation 2 vibre con videojuego andando adentro. Siempre he pensado que los equipos lectores de DVD no deben estar en movimiento cuando estan en funcionamiento y me molestaba tener que mantener el dedo presionado en el boton de encendido de mi playstation 2 solo para poder apagarlo o encenderlo, ya que al hacer contacto con mi dedo hacia vibrar el aparato estando este encendido. Lo recomiendo si usas la base para mantener verticalmente tu playstation 2 slim y para proteger tus juegos de daños por efecto de las vibraciones que provoca tener que encender o apagar tu aparato de videojuego manualmente.

"PS2 Remote", I've used the regular controller too long for the use of dvd's on my PS2. It was time for a remote. This one was inexpensive and it came promptly. I was very pleased.

"Very good product", This is an amazing product. You can control your PS2 as a DVD player, very useful for movies! I recommend.

"PS2 DVD Remote Controller ", I purchased this for my husband since he needed this to set the other remote up. It is good to have in case the ONE remote that is used for everything breaks or gets lost. I think it was a good price and the delivery was pretty fast.

"Should have bought a long time ago", This thing is great. It works with the built in IR reciever in the PS2. It makes watching movies a breeze without having to get up to use the regular controller. Great item. Should have gotten one a long time ago.

"Make sure you have the PS2 model that does not need the adapter", This is a great remote, assuming you have the newer PS2 unit that has the infared sending unit already incorporated in your unit. If not, you need to buy the remote that has the adapter unit included with it.

"Didnt recieve the remote reciever.", Sent the remote, looks great, just now reciever... how do i use it with out a reciever?
