"Another Fine Product from Belkin", It fit my truck and my iPod perfectly. The only reason I gave it a 4 was because I use this in a cup holder on the center console in my truck and the iPod sits really close to the console, leaving just a little space for the plug. It would be nice to have some a sortment of extensions to be able to raise the iPod holder up from the cup.

"Not That Great", Alerts thieves that there could be an i-pod in the car. It will of course not fit if you protect your i-pod with a skin or protector. Since it sits low in my cup tray in my vehicle I cannot see the display to toggle with the menu. I have to remove it from the holder to change songs, playlist etc.

"A++", This item was everything that I expected it to be. It gives you many options on how to configure it in your car. Has a nice swivel ability so the passenger can access the ipod also. Theres no worry about the ipod ever falling out.
The only negative is that i wish i bought the black one instead, but i didnt know they had one..
The item is perfect and if anyone is looking for placing an ipod in their car this item is a A+++

"just ok", it worked well in my Maxima. i now have Murano and these cups just don't fit properly in the cup holder.

"Almost great.", Its held in place with a suction cup... clever, but a touch inconveinient to reach around the back to release. Also, the bottom of the holster has a hole to accomidate the cord for the attachments... but then the cord is threaded through the hole. But since there is nothing else on the market similar...

"Worked well, but didn't get much chance to use it.", So here's my story. I bought this item along with a charger which I thought included a transmitter, but it apparently wasn't clear enough. So I had the product for a month before I found another transmitter in Target and bought it. By this time, I had been waiting a long time to get these so I can do my driver's ed while listening to my iPod.

So on the morning after, I got it all to work in my car on the way to the store. It fits very snugly, as long as the case is off, and you can tilt it in the direction you want. I was able to fit it in both of the family cars, and it has a few hooks under the platform to facilitate use of a charger. It seemed very satisfactory. BUT....you have to take the case off to use it.

I didn't want anybody to steal it, and since we were on a tight schedule, I grabbed the iPod without having the time to put the case back on. So right as we were leaving the store, my iPod dropped out of my pocket, and slapped onto the ground. Without the case on, this caused the hard drive to die, and to replace it would cost as much as a new ipod. This made me very angry because 1, I have had my ipod for 2 years and it was still in very good condition, 2, I don't have that kind of money, and 3, I was so excited to finally get it to work, only to have my precious ipod be DESTROYED!!!!

So for the 15 minutes I used it, it seemed ok, but be warned! Make sure you put the case back on! If you don't think that you will remember to, try to find something else! Please let my story not be for nothing!

"Oh the things you can buy for your iPod", After I bought my iPod a charger, a tape adapter, an FM broadcaster, a case, a running wheel, and a water bottle, I decided it needed a holder to keep it safe in the car. These little Belkin numbers are quite nifty. They hold the iPod in a nice position in my cupholder such that I can glance down at it instead of picking it up when I need to review the playlists/switch songs. Overall a nifty product - now even better that it's a little cheaper.

"Great value", With a price here on Amazon far better than some of the brick-and-mortar stores, this was an easy purchase to make. My car has unusually large cupholders yet, by simply flipping the base of the TuneDok over, I still managed to get a tight fit with no wobbling for my 3G iPod.

"NOT for iPods with protective covers", If your iPod has a protective cover (e.g. skin, casing, etc.), then the iPod will not fit in the holder of this kit. Otherwise, you can fit a bare (uncovered) iPod on it well.

* The kit fits well inside vehicle cup holders of various sizes, including adjustable cupholders.
* The holder swivels, so you can have your iPod facing straight up or at various angles.
* The opening at the bottom of the holder is convenient for plugging a charger into the iPod.
* The holder uses a suction cup to firmly grasp the iPod. It actually holds the iPod well.
