"Great little motivator!", Got this about a year and a half ago, and just put in the third new battery. It ran about 8 months on that last one. This is a sturdy pedometer..I have dropped it several times to no ill effect. It is easy to read on the go, and accurate. Does anyone know a good source for batteries? I paid $8.00 at the watch outlet near us. Happy walking, this one is the best!

"Accurate. Easy. Functional.", Great pedometer. I keep on checking on its accuracy and it is 98% accurate (well, more like 99%.). Only 1 or 2 steps off in 500, which is pretty accurate.

"It would be perfect if it were waterproof", This is everything I want it to be. The problem is really user related. It is great that it works inside the pocket but it is so easy to forget to take the pedometer out of your pocket before we put our pants in the laundry. It sometimes takes a few washings without a problem but eventually, they fail. What does it mean when you put a battery inside a hot dryer? Nothing has happened so far but I wonder about it. I have replaced four pedometers so far. Otherwise, it's a great incentive and reliable so I continue to replace it.

"Reliable product", This is my second Omron Pedometer bought in 2008. I have not only used it myself but have liked it enough to gift it to a friend, and have recommended it to others.

Simple, straightforward to use, reliable and consistent.

The only drawback is for people like me who like to walk and run. Because the calculation of the distance is based on number of steps, if the step is any shorter or longer, it does not really compensate for that. Once you've setup step length - thats the basis of calculation.

2 step settings would have helped!

"Best Pedometer Ever~Love the Secure Clip", You have heard it all with almost 2000 reviews but I'll put my 2 cent in also. I love the extra security clip. I always have trouble with them falling off my waistband. With this the extra tap keeps it from hitting the ground. I have killed countless ones that way.

Also knowing how many aerobic steps out of your total is good. All in all it is an encouragement to see the number of miles and steps and calories burned.

The only con is getting the battery in, I did so without too much trouble but then got interupted and when I got back to set the time I couldn't without taking the battery out and starting again. You have to do it right away. The battery compartment screws off with a tiny phillips screwdriver if you have trouble seeing small things that can be an issue.

"Great Device", Great pedometer. It works well when have the correct adjustments for your stride and weight

"Nice", This is a good quality item. It is a little to big for my taste so I sometimes leave it in the drawer, but it is very helpful at guiding you... you must enter your stride though, because if you dont the numbers come out a little different from what you expected. Very cute though.

"I've had two of these", Both this model and its almost identical predecessor are/were very accurate on step count--much better than others I've tried. Most pedometers do not register all my steps. Both worked well in a pocket. The predecessor went through the washing machine four times before it died, but this one was killed with one cycle in the machine :( However, I can hardly blame the pedometer--they are not designed for this abuse. I am ordering a third one.

"Omron Pedometer", I have used the Omron Pedometer several times since I ordered it. Its easy to set up and recordings seem to be accurate. I am very satisfied with the purchase. The quality of this pedometer is great. I like the clip and safety strap so it is secured to a person. I would purchase this item again.
