"Do not purchase from this company", Once this company gets a hold of your credit card number, they start shipping (and billing you) for wildly overpriced unordered merchandise, which you then must return (at your own expense) and do hand-stands to get a refund for.

"video professor starter pack", If you are like me and need visuals to help explain things then you will find this helpful. I have since bought two more: digital photography and windows. I like them. I bought them from Amazon so I didn't have any contact with Video Professor.

"Program works", My boyfriend wanted to try several Video Professors to increase his computer usage knowledge. We tried going through Video Professor itself and had all the issues listed in the other reviews here.

I finally ordered the program here on Amazon to avoid dealing with the video professor direct issues and we received the Starter Pack a few weeks ago. He really likes the programs. For someone who wants to learn what windows, outlook, word, and the internet can really do this is a very good systematic approach to teaching those programs. Issues with Video Professor aside the teaching approach in the cds are very thorough and easy to navigate through. You can easily rewind through the lessons and redo sections if you want.

In this "Starter Pack" you get the first cd of each of the programs (they are all available as separate 3cd lesson plans).

In summary, the programs work very well for people who want to learn these programs. Ordering it through Amazon gets you a good price without having to deal with monthly offers from Video Professor.

"Scam Artist of the Lowest Kind", Beware of this guy....he will send you unwanted videos and keep charging your credit card $70/month month after month....no customer service to respond to complaints ...will report this scumbag to better business bureau

"Video professor is a acam. Be careful after they get you credit card info", I ordered a program from Video Professor. At the time that I ordered, I told the order taker that I only wanted that particular program. I did not want to receive future programs unless I specifically ordered them. I received the program I ordered. However, some time later I received another program that I did not order and did not want. I called customer service. They said to send it back. I said I had no intention of spending my own money and time standing in line at the Post Office. Then they offered to send a self-addressed, pre-paid mailing label. I agreed and waited for them to send it. Apparently, more than one month went by and I still had not received the label. But, they deducted $69.95 from my checking account anyway. I called them about this. They said they would make sure the label got to me. A month later, it still had not arrived. I called again. They promised another label. To date, I haven't received the return label; but, they still have $69.95 of my money taken at the end of April and now it is July.
