"Didn't fit"
My laptop is a Sony Vaio 15.4" and this sleeve didn't fit it wide wise ... lenght wise was okay. I was very disappointed. I thought on returning it, however, I really needed one for my trip two days later so I went to Best Buy and found one that fitted it perfectly for the same price and this one was even better - with handles included. So instead of returning it I will give it to a friend who has a 13" Mac laptop.

"Only for slim 15.4" notebooks"
It fits my 15.4" gateway notebook, but barely! It's a little too snug for my taste. If you have a thin 15.4" notebook this sleeve should be fine. I have a thick laptop and the sleeve is very tight on it. Again, it works best for thin laptops.

"Too small"
Got the 17" for my Dell 6400 (15") just to be safe. But even this is too small for the laptop - the other dimension is 12" which is not enough.

"I am an idiot!"
Don't buy this product for a 17" widescreen computer unless you can try it out in a store first. I purchased this for my Dell e1705 and there's no way, no how, that iw can fit. I think that the vendor, Fellowes, is guilty of false advertising. Even the tag that comes with the case says that the interior dimensions of this case are 15.4"x10.2"x1.8". I'm an idiot because I didn't read all of these reviews first stating that the case would not fit a 17" computer.

"Laptop Sleeve", This order came quickly and the case works great. It is a little big for my laptop, but I think the next size down would have been too small.

"Fit's like a Glove", It is a Snug Fit for my Dell D531 Latitude,it has Great face and back padding but almost NO Edge or Corner protection what so ever, as for the metal logo? This version that I have received, in no way can I foresee damaging the laptop inside short of a impact Great enough to damage with or without said logo. My suggestion to the manufacture is to Greatly increase the edge and corner padding and to substantially lower the price.

"Didn't like it for flying", I bought it for my 13.5" Sony VIAO Laptop. It's too big, there is an inch left horizontally. I read the review before buying and some suggested the 17" for a 13.5 saying the 15" was too small. I see that 15" would have been too small. I bought it so I can put my laptop in my backpack for traveling, it fits in it vertically. The sleeve zipper opens horizontally. The sleeve is fine, it does what it should, protect the laptop. There is inside pockets for large items, magazines, sheets... small objects like CD, pens... just gets lost in it. I didn't like the sleeve for flying. At security they want the laptop out of the sleeve. The zipper does not un-zip through the sides so I had to take out the entire sleeve from the backpack to take the laptop out. If the zipper was zipping through the extremities to remove only the laptop, I would have liked it better. Because, when you slide the sleeve back into your backpack its fabric against fabric and it just doesn't slide down easily. I didn't need this extra-step at security!

"It works as advertised", I ordered the sleeve so I could place my Dell 820 in it to transport on the back of my motorcycle. After months of use, no problems whatsoever and I would recommend it highly.

Read this reviews before You buy...

"17"? No Star.", I should have read the reviews before purchasing this product - I gave it away to friend who has a 15.4" notebook. It's not what the description claims, you won't fit a 17" notebook into this sleeve.

"Not what it's supposed to be", This is listed as a sleeve for a 17" notebook when it is actually a sleeve for a 17" MAC Powerbook. Therefore it doesn't fit what it's advertised for.

"well made, didn't fit", I like fellows products in general. Have looked for a while for a good 17" sleeve. This one looks like what I wanted & is definitely well made. However, It is too small from top to bottom...won't zip up. Perhaps my machine is outsized for a 17"...it is an emachine...


"Perfect laptop cover", This worked perfect for my laptop. No problem with the metal body glove logo as other reviewer mentioned. Thought this item was super cool..... my dad thought so too, so I ordered another for him.

"HP laptop does not fit", I ordered this sleeve after carefully measuring my hp laptop and realizing that I needed a sleeve larger than the 15 inch one. When the 17 inch sleeve came, it was wide enough but too short and would not zip shut. The enclosed paperwork did give me a return address but no information about the purchase price. I mailed the sleeve back but have heard nothing from the sender and received no refund.
