"Resume Maker Professional 11"
By using the "Resume Maker Professional 11" I was able to successfully obtain a Federal job that I don't think I could have otherwise obtained. All ten modules were extremely
informative and professional in helping me prepare a resume that adequately reflected my skills, talent and
expertise. Also, by using the "Salary Finder" I was able to negotiate a satisfactory salary. By keeping
all my records and information in this one file on the CD, the data is readily available whenever I need it.
I recommend the "Resume Maker" to anyone interested in improving their profession skills whether they are
looking for a change in employment or not.

"Not Updated"
The best part of this program is that it offers a variety of formats to use to write your resume. However, if you dare use the "Resume Caster" option, you'll get your email address sent to many different online employment agencies that will then send you job offers that are not even in your field. The end result is that you have a whole new set of spammers flooding your email box constantly. In addition, the salaries that they quote for some jobs are over 10 years old! So if you wanted to find a current salary range for the job you're seeking, you'll know what the WERE ten years ago. There are other parts of this program that are decent and I think it's worth a purchase for some people.

"DO Not Bother"
The drop-down menus are not specific enough for different job titles, I have a M.S. in Chem. Eng, my choice from Resume Maker is chemical technician. Graphics do not export to a Word format. Resume Caster i.e. send one resume to multiple job sites, is very limited and useless if your are experienced in your area of work. Software locks-up often. Waste of Money. I wish I could get a refund.

"Resume Maker Deluxe 2004 Version 11"
Much better than I anticipated. Frustrated at first, because I too could not import my resume from a MS Word document, & had to enter the data myself (poor me). BUT, it is was well worth the effort! Pleasantly surprised with this OUTSTANDING product that was worth every penny. My only regret is not using this software sooner. One caveat: my computer is rather new, and I have a very fast Internet connection. Therefore, I am not sure I can recommend this product to everyone.

"Don't bother"
Package clearly states it imports resumes. When you get to that part it tells you that if you want to import it will have to be plain text (i.e. no Word docs), with bullets and formatting removed. Well, that's pretty much just not importing.

Secondly, the program hangs on XP all the time. I have a brand new machine, with patches. And I updated Resume Maker right off. Still hangs.

Really, this is a waste of money. I'm giving up on it and going back to Word. All the other 'features' (sample resumes, etc.) can be found at many websites.
