"Great Wheel practically new" i loved the wheel becuase i got it at a good price price and it was practically brand new since it still had some of the stickers that you have to remove before playing. it also came with the manual, the box looked like it went through hell and back and it did not give a good first impression and it did take a lot a longer for me to recieve than what it thought it would which was the only draw back.
"A neat gaming experience" A while back, I picked up Gran Turismo 4 after having been turned off by other racing games such as Burnout and Need for Speed. I enjoyed the game much more than I thought I would, and played it quite a bit. Using the regular Play Station 2 controller was fine, but it wasn't great. I decided to try a wheel, and knew that I would get a lot of use out of it as I was still enjoying the game a lot. After much research and deliberation, I decided on this one and have been very pleased. I can get better lap times, more consistent driving maneuvers, and win higher point races than I could before with just the controller. However, using a game wheel is a very steep learning curve, and it takes a lot of patience to get used to. After having earned many of the higher power race cars, I had to go back to the really slow ones in order to learn the mechanics of the wheel. It took some time, but generally, using the wheel is very intuitive and quite exciting. It produces a whole new gaming experience that is very worthwhile to racing fans. I'm enjoying GT4 on a whole new level, and I'm looking forward now to trying out other racing games.
"This is the wheel to get......" This steering wheel system is SWEET. I got it a few months ago and have loved it ever since. I have Gran Turismo, NASCAR 08, and ROad to Knoxville, to name a few. The wheel works great with every one. Also, some people have complained about force feeback being an issue. NOT AT ALL. If you don't like it, just unplug the wheel from the wall. The force feedback goes away and it still works fine. The 900 degree rotation is cool too when you want to crank it around a short bend. So far, with the games, 900 steering works with Gran Turismo and Need for Speed. It doesn't work at all with ATV games but they don't have steering wheels anyway. Overall, this steering wheel is the coolest thing ever. I would just like to mention I also bought the Playseat to go with it and it is the best setup ever. I could imagine you would have trouble if you did not have a table with the right height or a seat like mine. The Playseat is right here ---->Playseats Evolution Gaming Seat
"PS2 Driving Force Wheel works with PS3" This forced feedback wheel works great on PS3 system. Note that the USB connection to the game system is required, and there is slightly less than 9' of USB cable attached to the wheel. If you need more, get a USB extender. Also, the wheel *REQUIRES* something to anchor to, sold separately. Read the reviews before you consider the Logitech Lap Attachment (and heed them!).
"AWESOME!!!!!!" This is the best wheel for PS2's GT 4 game. I mount it to a TV tray table and it sets at the correct height for a regular folding chair. It has the paddle shift handles and a manual shifter (stick). Both of which function on GT4. Forsake all other steering wheels and get this one.

What our customer's say!
"Great wheel & pedals for GT4", Gran Turismo 4's driving experience gets a whole lot better with this wheel and pedals. It will feel like a new game as the realism is enhanced. Not to mention the added feature of displaying a steering wheel on the screen so that you don't have to look at your hands (not an in-car view, get GT5 Prologue for that). I definately recommend it.
"Fine addition to PS2 driving games, remember the mount!", The internet is filled with positive reviews about the Driving Force Pro -- so I'll add to the mix, but with a different spin.
PROS: The wheel itself is great, with solid construction, good "force feedback", and excellent compatibility with my Sony PS2. I'm playing it mainly with GT4 and a little Burnout Revenge -- no problems. Very little learning curve, as this set-up is much more "natural" in the context of a driving game rather than a controller pad.
CONS: The price is still high (though this website is among the cheapest), and it absolutely requires a STRONG, THIN tabletop for mounting. The clamps open no more than 1.25 inches. Many of the folding tables and TV stands are too unstable and/or too thick. I ended up buying a small computer desk for $20 from a nearby W***art store. So expect to add this cost to the total price.
Overall, a good purchase.
"Great Wheel", Great wheel AAA+ but has to mounted on a stand or mount to be fun. Strapping it on as table just plain sucks. Do a check on the net and find a race cradle to make out of PVC. I built a really sturdy one for $25 at lowes! Makes the best racing game even better!
"Get item", This is just great PERIOD! I just love it and it just is about perfect IMO.
"Love it !!!", I bought it for my husband birthday. When he saw it, he could not wait to tried that for Gran Turismo 5 Prologue (PS3 game). It is very easy setup and he said much better than use PS3 WIRELESS CONTROLLER!!!

"Was impressed!!", The wheel works great. I like how it self calibrates and is ready to go after that. It makes the racing feel so much more realistic. The only thing I would change is the mounting clamps dont fit the evolution seat as well as I would have liked. But other than that I love the wheel.
"Great Addition to the PS3", I am really happy with this steering wheel. The 900deg turn option rocks for games like F1. Makes the driving a lot more realistic. I don't have it permanently mounted on a table or anything, that is my only disatisfaction...but that is a problem with my setup, not the wheel. I also wish more games supported it!
"Great wheel for PS3, problematic pedals", I purchased this wheel specifically for use with a Playstation 3. There are two limitations with the PS3, since this was a PS2-specific design. First, the connection is USB-based, not wireless. The supplied cable is plenty long enough for my setup, though. Second, no PS button, meaning I have to have the SixAxis controller nearby for exiting the game, etc. All other controls are present and well-designed.
On the whole, I like the pedal setup just fine; it stays put, is easy enough to use, and having the ability to apply half or three-quarters throttle, rather than having to tap the controller button on-off-on-off to simulate that works very nicely. I have to downcheck the unit one star for the lack of reliability in the pedals, though. Mine failed after three days: the gas would cut off for no apparent reason, and the brakes would apply themselves randomly. Not a good trait when driving at a virtual 180 mph. :-) Amazon promptly replaced the unit, and so far, no problems with the new one, but a search on the internet reveals that many people have experienced similar problems, and applied various kludges to fix them.
Touch and control with the wheel is spectacular in the 900 degree mode (supported on the PS3 in GT5 HD Concept, and presumably in the full game when it ships). Less stellar in 200 degree mode (supported, for example, by Ridge Racer 7), but still quite usable. The force feedback and rumble work well. This would be a five-star product but for the questionable quality-control or design issue with the pedals.
"A new twist to fun games", Great product. Excellent response and feedback. It takes some getting used to, but it definitely makes the games a little more fun and interactive.
"Works on PC very well!!", This is indeed the DFP, even though amazon's title says just DF. I used the G25 drivers on the logitech website for my PC. Works beautifully!! I don't know why logitech doesn't advertise this as a PC wheel. 900 degrees of rotation takes a bit getting used to. You can set it anywhere between 40-900 degrees under game controller setup in windows. Lots of buttons on the wheels, but not paddle shifters. Its more like paddle buttons, but I like to use the stick shifter instead. I had a Nascar Thrustmaster Force previously, and the DFP is much better at producing FFB effects. In fact, I had to tone it down because it was strong at default settings. Its also a tad smaller than my previous wheel so I have more space on my desk to mount it. The brake and gas pedals also have different spring tensions which makes it a little more realistic. The gears still make a lot of noise as with the Thrustmaster when turning, but its definitely smoother. I don't feel the 'notchiness' of the gears. Playing GT2, GTL, LFS, and Richard Burns Rally with it.
I don't have a PS2, but from the reviews it should work great also.
