"Best quality for your pictures", I bought this card with my Rebel XT two year ago. It's still working flawlessly. What a wonderful card. It served my need in the early photographing days, when I only use Auto mode and only use JPEG. Now I started using RAW and moved to a 4GB high speed card, but this card still in my bag for the first backup. SanDisk Ultra II, trustable.

"Great SanDisk Ultra II", I purchased this to go with my Canon EOS 6.3MP Digital Rebel back in January 2005. As of today, this little card is still working. I just purchased a 1GB one since the 512MB one doesn't have enough memory space for the amount of photos I take. I don't recall ever having problem with this card. The only time I ever lost photo was when my computer got a virus. The photos I had downloaded into my computer were sequentially lost. Obviously that isn't the disk's fault. The only reason I give it 4 stars was the price I had to pay for this. It was around $60 then.

"It's great!", This card works like a turbo charger on my Canon digital camera. I take quite a few action shots on the water from my kayak. There is a most noticeable difference in the processing speed. Wish I had bought it sooner.

"Enough memory for frequent download", 512 MB is enough for one batch of hi-res images downloading from my Nikon SLR camera to computer to process, modify, resize, and etc.

"Works every time", I bought this for my Nikon D-100 and D-70 cameras. It works extremely well. I've taken over 5,000 photos and I used it to transfer photos from the camera to the computer or I upload the photos I want developed and then take it to Walmart or some other digital printing shop and develop the photos. I have NEVER had a problem and have never lost a photo to this flash card. I would recommend the 1GB or higher card though - they are so cheap now.

"Best Compact Flash", Sandisk CF is all I use.I have never had a problem. One card went through the wash and still works perfectly.

"Lasts for a couple of years", The card gave up on me after a couple of years of moderate use. A memory card doesn't have many moving parts so I thought it would last forever. Fortunately it broke when I was at home, it would have been a disaster if it was on a vacation on a small island somewhere in Asia.

SanDisk only have one year warranty, even on these higher end cards. My next card is a Lexar Media 512 MB 80x Pro Series instead, they offer lifetime warranty. Makes more sense to me and it is faster too.

"poor customer service", I purchased this memory card for a camera I was also purchasing. It was listed as an accessory to the camera on the same page. When I received the card first and then the camera, I was disappointed that the card was the wrong shape and size for the camera and would not fit. Because I had opened the plastic package to the card, I was unable to return it. In fact, when I emailed the company who sent it, I never even received a response.

"Faster than my older CF cards", In general, I have realised that CF cards have a 1-2 years life. This is my 3rd CF card in 5 years, and my 2nd Sandisk card to-date. My first (also Sandisk) is still working, but its only 32MB so not very useful on long trips except as backup. With a 5 Megapixel Canon, this 512Mb card stores about 200 highest resolution images. Have used this for only 3 months so far, but have noted that the Ultra II is definitely faster than others. Quality and life seems to be better than the Viking cards I have used, but time will have to tell how true that is.
