"It's cool"

I think you should give this game a shot. I only started playing it because I got it as a gift. At first it seemed annoying because of redundant lines in the dialogue & the accent & a few other details. BUT, it turns out to be a cool game AND it has a pretty good story line.
A lot of other games and movies have a good premise but they don't take advantage of it & they ruin it. This one, surprised me with the story line.
Give it a shot!

"Not for the impatient adventurer...."
I bought this game a while ago but just finished it. It is the first time I have played a game where the point is not to kill things but to puzzle things out, and I really enjoyed that. The puzzles were fun and not so terribly challenging that I couldn't find the answer after a thorough look around, but a few were definitely "creative." The atmosphere of the game is spooky; good graphics and music. Yes, the dialogue got a little stilted, but oh well. I too was a bit disappointed by the ending, but perhaps there is a Black Mirror II in someone's dusty bottom drawer at The Adventure Company?

I wanted to like this game, honestly I did. The graphics were nice and the mechanics of gameplay were easy to use and intuitive. I also liked that as you move through areas there are labels that come up and let you know what you're pointing at or moving towards - nice feature.

However, I was quickly put off by the repetitive "talk to everyone, something happens, talk to everyone, something happens" ad infinitum. There was a whole bunch of chatting, and much of it was pointless until you determine who you are supposed to speak to at a particular time. It would have been nice if you were actually unable to speak to people who had nothing to say to you, rather than clicking on them and waiting for them to tell you to get lost.

The voice acting was reasonable, and as I said earlier, the game looks nice, sounds good, and the puzzles seemed to be well thought out and somewhat innovative... but the game was just way too talky and drawn out for me. Too much marching around trying to figure out who has the info on your next clue or item.

"Save your money!"
This is one of the worse games I have ever played. It is boring and, like others have pointed out, there are a lot of useless items that you have to click on. And you have to right click on everthing too. It is one of those where it won't let you do something unless you trigger it, so you have to revisit every location and click on everything a hundred times.The worst part is that you can die from stupid things, like you can click on a wire and then die. You would think the character would say something like "that looks dangerous" but no, you just die. And you can get stuck, which is what happened to me. They give you 24 slots to save your game in, I recomend using them all. Save your game a lot and at a lot of different times, you never know when you could get stuck and the game could be unplayable. I am so sick of this horrible game that I do not intend on finishing it. If I wanted to play it again I would have to start from the begining anyway, because I made a mistake. If you insist on buying this, use a walkthrough, it will save you a lot of time and stress.

quite possibly the most boring game on the planet.
Nothing to keep you interested and the conversations are extremely dull.
Don't waste time on this game, I can't even finish it.
Oh well.
