"Good to be photographing again!", My daughter has the Canon EOS40D, and uses it constantly since she is a dual major and anthropology is one of them. She paid a fortune for it so we were more than a little dismayed when the battery charger went missing. After much seachering, we gave up and ordered this. It is the same charger that came with the camera, so she is up and shooting again. I was very pleased that we were able to replace it with a Canon for such a reasonable price. All other sites we check wanted much more.

"Canon is your pick! Don't buy generic!", Prior to purchasing this battery charger, due to time constraints, I gave into temptation and tried a generic brand. Result: Wasted time, Wasted money and most importantly poor, poor results. If you value your pictures from your Canon camera, buy Canon and only Canon--Amazon had the best cost and my charger was brand new. LUV IT!

"just what i needed", I left my original charger in boston. This one got there very quickly so i could photoraph a concert for the band. works perfectly . thanks for the timeliness.

"Original OEM Charger", This is the original OEM charger that came with my camera. I like the indicator lights for 1/2,3/4 and full charge. If the battery starts at 3/4 charge it will not take as long to get to full as the newer chargers from canon that charge for 2 hrs no matter how much juice is already there.

"G5 Battery Charger", This is a great charger for my Canon G5 camera battery. It only took two(2) hours to charge the battery. The only thing wrong is the colored indicators are a bit deceptive. They are only there to represent what the flashing LED represents. There is only one LED that flashes at varying speeds to indicate the level of charge. It does charge much faster than the charger you have to plug into the camera though. That could be a bad thing because the charger you plug into the camera charges more slowly. But if you need speed and portability this is the charger to get.

"Excellent, Fast Charging", Excellent charger, no problems ever, and has 4 different lightings to let me know how far charged it is. Fast charging, and the prongs fold up for easy transporting. Also very light and compact.

"a great compact travel solution", This charger is great, and well worth the extra 20 or 30 bucks it costs over a knockoff.
1. it is small, it plugs right into the wall, and the plug prongs fold in.
2. there is no brick on the end of a cord to truck all over. no cord at all actually.
3. you know it is quality, and wont damage the expensive batteries.

you spend 40 or 50 bucks on a battery, then go to ebay to find the cheapest POS charger you can find. they dont charge as well, as quickly, and with some batteries, they just dont charge at all. This charger charges all batteries I have to a much better charge, and is 1/4 the size. This one is small enough to go right into my camera bag. love it.

"They should all be cordless!", This charger is great. No cord to trip over or store. Batterys charge quickly and charger fits in your pocket or camera case pocket with no cord to become tangled with other accessories. Great, great product.
