"Will not work with wireless networks!!", Purchased to transmit video to our kitchen. It works flawlessly in a wireless "vacuume", however we quickly realized it will render your wireless router useless. Also experiences major interference (both audio and video) around running microwaves.

I do not recommend using this product near a kitchen with a microwave or a home with a wireless network...

"Unfortunately a letdown", I had my doubts about this from the other reviews,but thought I would try it. I hooked it up per the directions and all I got was static, I tried all the channels, shutting my phones and microwave and still nothing. The theory was good but the practice horrible. In the end I had to do what I was going to do in the beginning and run a wire 2 floors up and hard wire it. Works like a charm now.

"Leapfrog LF-30", I am an experienced "audiofile", but despite my best efforts with a 20' line of sight set-up, the performance was un-usable!! Run a wire if you possible can!

"Terk review", I had to place a new small TV in a bathroom to replace the old rabbit-ears that would no longer work in February. This video wirless transmission system was extrememly simple to connect and has worked perfectly since day one. I can change the channels remotely and control the TV using my dish receiver remote. A wonderful device that I highly recommend.

"Definetly Worth the Money", Picture is very clear...I have Tivo HD Series 3 upstairs and i wanted to be able to view my Tivo on additional TVs downstairs. i do get an occasional pop and lots of interference from my 5.8 Vtech phone system & microwave (only when they are in use). i have a wireless network 802.11g and n with no interference. my biggest issue was finding the IR window on my Tivo for the remote, once i found the g-spot everything is working fine.. i'll give it a couple of weeks and i'll probably buy another LF30S receiver to feed my bedroom tv.. this beats buying other tivo boxes or additional cable boxes.

Read this reviews before You buy...

"Terk wireless audio/video link", This product is not usable. While watching video or listening to audio, don't even think about turning on your microwave; the staic is unbearable. And it interferred with my RF TV remote to the point where I could not change channels. Product returned to vendor.

"Prone to Interference", This video sender works great -- until you or a neighbor turn on a microwave oven or use a cordless phone. Then the TV picture you're receiving with this device will show constant signs of interference: black bars, flashes of light, snow, you name it. NOT recommended for apartment building residents.

I tried to use the device last night around 11pm watching TV in my bathroom while conducting my endless dental regimen. At that hour, apparently half of NYC is busy making their late-night "booty calls", and the interference in the picture was non-stop.

As others have said, you will also have to turn off your computer's wireless router and postpone any cordless phone conversations while the sender is in use.

We can only hope that as technology opens new frequency spectra, the 2.4 GHz frequency will get quieter as early adopters migrate to higher land... In the meantime, I have to consider this Terk video sender a disappointment.



"Works well ", This works as advertised. I use it on a sat.rec. from a basement to upstairs. It is a little more directional than I would like, but with a little fiddling I got a good, clean, noise free signal.

"Terrible product", What a terrible product. I tried all of the channels and the product did not work. Maybe I was missing something, but I tried it in 3 different locations and not one worked well at all. Oh it did work, but AM Radio sounded better than this wireless system. I bought this to distribute computer music during my sister's wedding and the money would have been better thrown away on party favors or at the bachelor party! Unless you are using it to listen to a baseball game and you want the vintage hissing and whining in the background I wouldn't get this!

"works as expected.", Very easy setup and it works as expected. There is interference when the microwave oven is operated, but other then that, the picture and sound are perfect. Recommended.
