"don't listen to anybody else but me for this..", ok, i got this product recently, so let's get the obvious out of the way; you can't add codes whatsover...that's it...other than that, its perfect...you don't need to add any codes because all the games you would love to play are on there...they have all of the resident evils, all of the prince of persias, all of the legend of zeldas including twilight princess, eternal darkness: sanity's requiem, both metroids, the megaman collection, wario world, luigi's mansion, and all of the marios including double dash, sunshine, and strikers, and even both of the super smash bros. brawl...what more codes do you need to add!!?!?!?!?? the people who complained about not adding codes is probably a game you never heard of or never attempted to spend your hard-earned money on a piece of crap...

" Some sellers may mislead you! Beware.", BEWARE! Item you get may not be the one pictured! I am so happy I read these reviews before buying this for my son. This is now the second web store(maybe more as I don't know which stores the reviewers are referring to) that has advertised the action replay MAX yet delivering the new one where you can't add codes! What the heck? The other website even shows a video of how to use the action replay MAx(it's pictured and everything) but then sells you the new one. How helpful.:( An unsuspecting buyer might not think that there is a difference if they don't know that the one you actually get can't have codes added. The awful thing is, I fell for this once- I bought my son the new action reply that doesn't let you know on it's packaging that you can't add codes, my son was upset since the reason he wanted it was to add codes so I started searching for the old one- MAX. E-Bay had one for $129.99! Nope, can't afford that, so I bought this one thinking it was the MAX, as they advertise it, and then read some comments and found that some of the sellers were actaully delivering the new one so I was lucky enough to cancel it. I would have been really, really angry if I was duped twice. Shame on the guilty sellers!!! Now, I don't know if every seller listed is dishonest, but I advise you to ask the seller before buying it if it the new one or the MAX action replay. And shame on Datel for not clearly labeling the new action replay's package with information that is crucial for most gameers!

"son", The action replay is really awesome!!! It is very helpful for beating the hardest games. It has lots of cheat codes for a variety of games. It is easy to use. The only bad thing is that the only way to add new cheat codes is to use a freeloader. What's that?

"Pretty cool", It is helpful for areas where you get stuck - but I was unaware it was the same one I could have bought at Wal Mart. GO figure....You cannot add codes to it which rather sucks I think. The interface is friendly, and the selection is decent

"action replay disc only version", wish i could add codes, metroid prime codes good, metroid prime 2 codes lacking boo on intec/action replay, this version was easier to find than the older better one which they should have still been making

"BEWARE!", My son bought this product because the picture showed the 1X memory card and the product description listed it as well. The manufacturer no longer makes the AR with 1X memory card. At least one of the sellers, Sup Media, will ship the AR WITHOUT 1X memory card when you purchase this item. I have no experience with any of the other sellers so I do not know what their policy is. Just BEWARE if you purchase this item it is NOT the Action Replay with 1X memory card.

"IT WAS BROKEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!", It was broken when I got it the disk wouldnt read. I am going to have to send it in to the company.
