Others say...
"Too fragile" First, I genuinely like the product very much because it produces solid sound for light-weight headphone. I very much liked the collapsible nature to carry in a more compact situation. The phones fit tightly on the ears to minimize the ambient, external noise though they technically are not noise-canceling.
However, they were too fragile. After two months of wear/use, the piece on the left ear that "snaps" the phone into place broke. Disappointed, I assumed that I had not been careful but the sound was not affected. The greatest disappointment was the plastic holding the right phone snapped completely, dropping the phone completely and making them completely unusable.
With duct tape, I was able to tape the plastic together to hold the right phone in place; unsightly, they still work.
I'm not careless or hard on this equipment; I'm not sure the design was as solid as need be. The sound was very good; the construction not good. If Sennheiser would have replaced them, I could rate them higher. If you purchase, be _very_ careful with them.
"Poor Sound Quality, But Solved The problem" I have the on-ear open Sennheiser PX100 headphones which have a good sound quality. But, at times I need a closed ear design to help block outside noise. So, I bought the PX200 headphones. The sound coming from this headset is extremely tinny and shallow. I returned them for a refund. If you do not have a good quality headset with you to compare the PX200 to, then you may not realize just how bad the sound really is.
However, I discovered that both headsets were exactly the same size. So, I bought the replacement closed ear cushions for the PX200 and put them on my PX100. The ear cushions fit perfectly on the PX100. So, now I can switch cushions depending on my needs. This is a great solution that works great for me and may work out for you.
"Followed other reviewers thoughts" Great sound, love the compact case too, very handy. Sound is very nice, only wish they had more bass to them. tried a set of bose on in a best buy and they blew these away but this was in my price range. .
"Great sound and also great price" I have used these headphones from the ipod to my Klipsch computer speakers (also great see my review) a home cd player with a headphone jack. So being able to speak of performanance for many different players they are suberb. At the price I dare someone who can find or tell me what headphones could be better. Anyone looking for a great sound at $50 look no further and you will be happy with the result. Get them.
"Dubious quality control" I bought two sets of these headphones, one set that worked well, and one set was totally lacking in all bass and sounded like it was coming from the bottom of a well. I tried suggestions like leaving it on high volume for a period of hours, but it didn't change it all. With dubious quality control it's hard to know what you'll get... I'm overseas, so Amazon won't re-reimburse the postage for returning the item, so if you don't have the option of free return shipping available, I'd say it's not worth the gamble.

What our customer's say!
"Great headphones", Got these for my husband, he loves them and says they really sound great he says they almost sound like surround sound and they block out the noise around him great. He mainly uses them for traveling or around the house, listening to Ipod, or watching funny videos or movies on his laptop. He never disturbs me, and I him, in fact I give up talking to him when he as them on, because he never seems to hear me. LOL
"Plenty of Bang for the Buck!", These headphones are probably the best set I've ever owned. The bass sounds very good and the noise blocking is good considering how small they are. I would recommend these to the music listener on a budget!
"Good Headphones", This brand of headphones has got a lot of recognition from users worlwide and I must recognize that they sound very nice. Now for the details: The ear cushions / padding are comfortable, it would be nice if the were a bit larger, cover the ear more efficiently, nevertheless a good and comfortable fit. Handles good volume, very good sound, solid depth on the bass and clear mids and highs, however in my experience I noticed that they had to be "broken into" to get the actual performance they deliver. So if you decide to purchase these headphones, don`t be quickly dissapointed by their performance on the first two or three uses ... The padding on the top is also comfortable. I have only two observations regarding this product, person next to you may completely and clearly hear what you are listening to, so I would probabbly shell out a little extra for noise cancelling ones. Secondly, the pressure they exert on the ear in order to maintain themselves in place over the ear could be better and this in turn would probably result in better sound. Regardless of these last observations a very decent headset for the price. Probably Bose is better, but comparing price / performance, I would go with this product, unless you're willing to shell out about $100 extra for the brand name and a slight enhancement in performance.
"Do You Hear What I Hear?", Great set of headphones. They are lightweight, comfortable, yet solidly built. The padding on the headband makes all the difference in the world. Gives the listener the ability to listen comfortably for hours.
Like other reviewers have said, you will hear music like you've never heard before. Gives you pure bass sounds, not over compensated bass. Highs ends are excellent.
"Great Headphones", I Love my new earphones. They make my laptop sound like a thousand dollar stereo and work great with Video games as well.

Read this reviews before You buy...
"What a steal!", Since my first pair of Sennheiser headphones were "stolen" from me (by my son), I had to buy another set; but I was happy to "share" these excellent headphones! Amazon's price was a great deal lower than any other vendor, and the shipping was superior; I took advantage of their free shipping and received the headphones within a few days.
"Ideal Headphones!", I have owned Sennheiser PX100's which are also terrific, with surprisingly good bass response. The 200's are also fantastic and for a few bucks more than the PX100's, have cupped ear phones instead of the flat foam phones on the 100's, and provide more sound blockage to outside sounds. I can't imagine a better value in a set of head phones for your Ipod or what ever. I highly recommend these, excellent head phones, especially at the price.
"Better than plugs", I was introduced to Sennheiser back in the mid-70's when I would take their classic open air headphones out to the beach with about 150 feet of headphone cable connected to the home system. I have been looking for a comfortable, lightweight set that delivered a good range and could work with the mp3 and xm radio players on the market. Sennheiser came through for me again. I have been using their buds with the volume control, and, now, can enjoy an even better range response with the PX200W (yes, I got the white ones - respect to Apple). Now, if I can figure out the carrying case without causing any damage; I'm home free. Very pleased...kudos to Sennheiser for coming through again.
"help with the debate", I, as well as many other customers i think, have spent much time reading reviews and deciding between the px100s and px200s, and i decided to go with the 200s.
It seemed consistant that the 100s had better sound, especially in the bass area, and fit more people better than the 200s, but they also made listening to music less private and allowed alot of ambient noise to be heard (a good or bad thing depending on your use). The 200s on the other hand sounded less crisp and most people couldn't get a very good seal so the bass sounds worse. On the other hand, though, they are more private and block out more noise than the 100s.
They both feature a neat folding design and comfortable fit, as well as a nifty carrying case (don't be fooled by the pictures though, the case is leather, not plastic).
So here is a summary; If you want better sound quality and less risk: px100s. If you want still good sound, more privacy, and less ambient noise: px200s
I opted for the 200s and have not been dissapointed. After a few minutes of adjusting, I found a way to comfortably wear the phones and also maintain a good seal. It is helpful that they put an L and an R on the side of the respective earpone, it makes for a better fit than if you have them on backwards. Also, I sound tested them against the standard apple earphones and the 200s are certainly an upgrade; the mids and highs are slightly better, amd the bass is waaay better (as long as you have a good seal).
As far as comfort, I forgot i was wearing them after a few minutes, until I rolled over and bumped them. I can listen to them for hours unlike the apple phones, which I can listen too for only like 30 minutes before I have to start alternating ears.
I was also impressed at how much ambient noise they block. I was talking to my sister and she asked why I was talking so loud and I realized why old people who can't hear talk so loud! In fact, I can hear the songs on my ipod while i am mowing the lawn at about 2/5 volume with the 200s as well as i can with the apple phones at 2/3 volume! Highly impressive.
I think they look cool too, and the portability is an added bonus. All the people who have trouble folding them must be special edd or something because there are only like three steps and there are only two ways to mess up. As long as you fold the top half in before the bottom half (you'll understand if you have them) its no problem.
I hope this review helped you because it sure would have helped me and I spent like half an hour writing it.
#######
A few months later I agree with my earlier review and would like to add that they do seem to slip off your ears slowly making it quieter, but it is easy to adjust. It gets a bit annoying, however.
Unfortunately they cracked but the warranty worked out and the replacements are like new, but the service was slow and took a lot of effort.
On that note, I had to wear my apple phones for a month and here is my conclusion. THEY SUCK AND HURT MY EARS!!!! The 200s are far more comfortable and have better sound, esp. for the price. I did, though pick up some fifteen dollar skull candy buds that sounded bad (about the same as the apple) but were far more comfortable, so you might wanna look into those.
" head phones", well designed, folds to a small compact size. Purchaced for airline travel, hate the headphones rented by the airlines, great sound should have purchased years ago.Must purchase adapter for aircraft use.
