"LI- 12b Battery for Olympus"
Very good battery. Very hard to find - many links to this number (12b) but they turn out to be the lower capacity 10b. It is worth the search to find the 12b. This 12b adds easily 50-70 digital pictures - including using flash (c-765 camera). I recycled the 10b's I had to switch solely to this higher capacity battery.

"Only buy Genuine Olympus batteries."
This battery had a good price for a genuine Olympus model. Do not waste your time with the knock off batteries for your Olympus camera. They are junk. They will wear out in short order---as the one I bought with my camera did. The Olympus brand battery I bought with my camera 5 years ago is still going strong. That's why I bought another one as a spare.

"It Works"
Our original battery lasted a year and a half and suddenly just died, no warning. The new battery appears to work absolutely fine. The original one, the one that came with the camera, always seemed very powerful and long lasting it just died unexpectantly.

"Buy OEM"
I got this battery when I bought my Olympus point and shoot. I also bought an off-brand battery at the same time to save a few bucks.

Big mistake.

After two years the off-brand battery doesn't hold half the charge of the Olympus battery. It also started to curve so that it is very difficult to remove from the camera when it's time to re-charge. Forget the off-brands and buy one or two Olympus batteries. It will save you money and frustration.
