"Camera Filter", My husband bought a new camcorder from Sony a couple months back. He looked up the filters and extra batteries in Sony. They were much more expensive than on Amazon. "It's what you need, but not at this price", While I bought sony's wide angle and telephoto lens for their camcorder, there's no reason to pay (IMO) $20-30 more for these filters.
You can get a CIRCULAR polarizer as cheap as $10-15 if you shop around. You DO need a CP, but not at this price.

"Polarizing filter", Would like the product better if it had 'stops' to prevent the filter from rotating due to vibration from motor vehicles. Otherwise it worked well.
