"wireless joystick"
Performs very well, comfortable, and good trim action. I use it for flight Sim. and it does all I need. Wireless action is flawless and I notice no interference with other equipment.

"Pretty Good"
This is a pretty good joystick, with good feel, good response, and plenty of options. I bought the Freedom about six months ago to play OSX SkyFighters (a WWII Flight Sim for the Mac) and for that purpose at least, it has been great, I literally have no complaints. That said, when I tried to use the Freedom to play the Mac version of F/A 18: Operation Iraqi Freedom the joystick came up short: F/A-18 really needs an 8 position hat switch just to get started -- the Logitech Freedom has 4 -- and the joystick didn't respond quickly enough (and its buttons sometimes not at all) and at times it gets jerky. For the WWII sims though, its great -- it works fine, is smooth, the cordless feature is really nice, and I've never had a problem getting the joystick to work with the UPS receiver or my computer (which is an Apple iMac G5 Desktop with 17" M9843LL/A (1.8 GHz PowerPC G5, 512 MB RAM, 160 GB Hard Drive, DVD/CD-RW Drive).) One bit of advice: get rechargable batteries (type AA) for this joystick and you will like it even more.

The Logitech Fredom 2.4 GHz Cordless Joystick was recognized by my Mac in true plug and play fashion. The action on the joystick is smooth and the build quality is very good for it's price. I highly recommend this joystick.

I would highley recomend this product.

"Logitech Freedom Cordless Joystick", This joystick is great!! Very high quality, well made. Haven't had any problems with wireless interference. My only concern is that this joystick won't last. My friend had a Logitech 3D Pro Max (basically the Freedom with wires) and it would not recognize the left-right axis anymore. He took it apart and fixed it a few times, but it finally died for good recently. I hope that taking good care of my joystick will prevent this problem, but other than that, I don't have any major concerns.

"Interferance", The corded version would be money much better spent, at least for me. I had major interferance problems with my ney iMac and airport extream.

"Great Joystick", This joystick is SWEET ! I've had it 6 months and it's been awesome, no problems at all. Well worth it !!

Read this reviews before You buy...

"GREAT Addition to Flight Simulator", The logitech freedom cordless joystick is wonderful... I bought it for my partner's birthday along with Microsoft's Flight Simulator software... What fun... He's always wanted to fly, but financial restrictions keep him grounded... He's flying now!!!

"Product controls", The Throttle control is to small and not in a good location on the Joystick. The different buttons are OK, but for use in Flight Simulator, they are not in a good location. Overall performance is OK, but not exceptional. I feel that the price is not consistant with the expectations of the Joystick. I expected more.

"Works well with Fedora Linux", I am not a gamer. I do like this joystick, it was very easy to install it in Linux.

"Buyer beware", Worked great for about a year of very limited use. Visit the manufacturer's website forum for issues with this product. Previously purchased models failed on or about the same date. Something about the 2.4Ghz transceivers messing up. I cannot confirm the date because I was inbetween gamming rigs at the time, but I tried to use this joystick after getting my new rig fired up and was set back when I encountered the calibration issues. There is no fix for this and if you hadn't put in the warranty card, then your out your investment. Go with wired untill the manufacturer takes some responsibility.

"Decent enough", OK, I use this stick for space in a not-so-common MMORPG. I've been in space with this stick more times than not, that my friend often forget what my toon looks like. Anywho, when my first freedom broke, i went out and bought a saitek x-52, since its highly recommended. Well, it was so awkward I just hung up my wings till I found me another Freedom.

my first freedom jsut quit responding to the sensor. I don't really know what caused it, but I love the stick so much that soon enough, I will be back into space flying to my heart's content!
