Hamtaro is better than a real hamster. The show is good for anyone. It's repetitive but understandably so because of the target audience. However I like the games rather than the show. I recommend this show to anyone who adores cute things. A perfect pokemon substitute.

"GREAT!"
Okay, yeah, Im thirteen. But, I loved this little cartoon. I was stuck with my cousin and she was making me sooo mad I had to go burn off steam, so I flopped on the couch and turned on the Tv. I thought it would be stupid at first, but I was wrong. I highly reccommend hamtaro for anyone!

"a great anime"
Now, a lot of people may think this anime is "kiddy", but it is NOT. I am 12, and I still think Hamtaro is very cute. In this DVD, you simply meet a lot of hamsters. If you like a good anime, or any cartoon, you should definitely get this DVD. Hamha!

"This is for the childlike people."
This is very straightforward instructions on how to get along in teamlike ventures. It shows the star submitting to his direct authority and the teamwork of everyone around him.
I like this alot because I believe in submitting to authorities no matter how unfair or unjust they may be. It's like Jesus who fully submitted to his authorities even when he was innocent and sentenced to death. This is the way of God.
So, consider rebellion an act of sin. This is the truth. There are ambiguities when it comes to parents. They have some authority in some areas and not in others. Like if you want to make a decision about career, activities, and ventures - they have no authority to stop you. But in matters of house rules - they have full authority.

So these are basic rules, it may be complicated going up the ladder to higher authorities, as in job situations and governmental authorities, because some rules or laws are very unjust. And in these situations, it is ok to rebel because they are in direct link to God's authority.

So pick your fights wisely, and live freely.

"Hamtaro", I bought this not too long ago after finding it in a discount section. It had been years sinse It had been canceled from tv. I must say that it's just as good as it was when it was on TV. Hamtaro is adorable. I love all of the ham-hams.

"Great anime for kids, parents, and open-minded anime fans", I bought my first Hamtaro DVD as a present for a friend who has a sweet tooth for cute little animals, and then got a copy to satisfy my own curiosity as an anime fan (plus the DVD was on special). I must say I enjoyed what I saw.

First of all, it IS cute, but not absolutely disgustingly cute - it's just a visual style that you quickly get used to.

Second, even though it is technically a "kids' show", it's not exactly mindless. Just as in more "mature" anime, there are story threads that continue through the series, the characters (while being stereotypes) have some complexity in their relationships, and, thanks to the normal human characters and good background art, there is a sense that the show takes place in (a nice part of) the real world, rather than some airy-fairy cartoon utopia.

Third, visually this show is superior to any US children's cartoon show I've seen recently, especially in the directing (angles & edits) and the painted backgrounds. And, finally, while I would have liked the option of Japanese language and subtitles, I think this DVD is that rare thing - a pretty good dub of a Japanese anime.

The great thing about Hamtaro is that, although it's for kids, it's not as "dumbed down" as some shows, which means that adults (parents and, er, *ahem* others) can enjoy it too, and parents don't have to worry about their kids being treated like morons.

The downside: with only three episodes per disc, you only get an hour for your money. Also, due to some quirk with the sound mixing, your ears may suffer from some fatigue after half an hour of Ham-Ham adventuring.

"Hamtaro is a GREAT child anime!!", People may think that "Hamtaro" is simply a silly, children show, but that is not the case. At some points, the show can be VERY entertaining, and intersting. Yes, the show is mainly targeted to a younnger audience, but the adventures, and life lessons, that Hamtaro and his adorable freinds experience can be very beneficial. My sister is a HUGE fan, and enjoys every show available. I recommend this DVD to anyone out there who has kids or is looking for a sweet, enjoyable, viewing expierence. HBP. "HAM-Ha!!"

"For Hamster Lovers!", Who said Hamtaro is for kids only? I am an University student but I love Hamtaro very much! Why? Because I love hamsters! (however my hamster is called Kiki, not Hamtaro or Bijou...) If you are a hamster lover, you would probably like Hamtaro as I do. Even a grow-up like me can find laughs and fun in Hamtaro. The Ham-hams are sooo cute and they have unique characteristics. When Hamtaro is sniffing (hif-hif), trotting (ticky-ticky) or even Kushi-kushi, it is soooooo cute! You can't resist it! Even my Bf likes it too! (He thought it's childish, but now he likes it)

"great for kids ages 4-9", My daughter loves these shows and she is slowly collecting all the toys to go with them. This movie has a positive message and super cute. Girls may like it better than boys. The only drawback is the 'typical' cheaply produced Japanesse anime so don't be looking for very rich production values.

"A wonderful begninning...", I admit it... I am 21 years old, and I love Hamtaro! I first discovered the little critter when I was briefly hospitalized over the summer, and since then the show has become one of my favorites.

This DVD is great, because you can finally see where it all started, if you haven't already. I immediately bught this after I was released from the hospital, and it helped brighten my day even though I felt like I was dying.

A must-have for anyone who enjoys upbeat animated antics and who can stand the sappy sweetness this is sometimes overabundant in the show.

"Hamha, Ham fans!", Hamha! I think the dvd really rocks. Its not just for pre-school because i'm 11 and i like it loads!!! It has got "Hamtaro"+"The Ham-Ham Clubhouse"+"Calling All Ham-Hams!" on it and is the must have for a ham-lover!

"Gotta love the Ham Hams", Hamtaro busted into our lives one Saturday Morning and now my kids are freaks about Hamtaro and the ham hams. I think the film is cute and I encourage my 5 year old to watch it often. I would recommend it to any parent to buy for their preschooler. You will be charmed~
