Sorry but ever since the 7th one was made the company made pretty bad sequils, I once the 12th one aproves the whole series. I just think they need new writers on the set, I have some pretty good ideas........

"Yawn.."
My grandma got this for me yesterday and I thought it was stupid, boring, and just right down dumb. I mean, Why bring back "The big water". It was stupid the first time but now it's really dumb. Littlefoot's voice has cracked more than 3 times, Cera is just a pain-in-the-butt, Ducky is having a serious speech impedement, Petrie is still referring to himself in third-person, and this dumb-as-a-doorknob shark named Mo is really getting annoying. I don't know why people keep putting great reviews about this. If you ask me, the first movie was bad enough but this going way to far.

"Not too bad of an episode By The Z"
This episode was mildly amusing. Every episode has its ups like Thomas Dekker continuing to play Littlefoot. The songs weren't incredibly boring like "Imaginary Friends" song, imaginary friends aren't really cool freidns because you just get made fun of if the secret slips out. "Chanson D' Ennui" also known as the Boring Song in french. Littlefoot and the gang are bored out of their minds and this song didn't really help at all. But the best was once again saved for last "No one has to be alone" was the best. Even though it was a spoff off of Donny Osmond. The only down part was Mo. His pranks were no were near funny and I'm glad he left. Lets hope he doesn't come back.

"Good, in one way better than WWD"
If you know allot about dinosaurs (like me!), go get Walking w/ Dinosaurs (WWD). If you are a little kid looking for some nice cute dinos, go for this. I especially like Spike and Mo. I always notice that Cera has a bit of a bad attitude which may teach you to behave like her - oh no. Ducky is quite a darling, I think. Why I like Land Before Time: Journey to Big Water over all the other ones is because of that Mo. He's just so cute! Like his way of talking and the cuteness (or however you spell it!) of his face. I don't own the original, only Mysterias Island and Big Freeze, of course along with this one. Get this now, but only if you are young (maybe under 7 I would say).

"Best I've Seen", A six year old's review.

Out of the six Land Before Time Movies that I own, this is the best. Mo was very funny and he liked to have fun. I bought this movie with the "Big Freeze" double feature and "Journey to Big Water" is definately better.

I also did not like "The Adventure That Started It All". "Journey to Big Water" was better than this movie also. "The Adventure That Started It All" did not have very bright colors.

I love the Land Before Time so much because I like dinosaurs.

"Cheezy for adults, but great for kids", My two year old son loves this movie. He wants to watch it all day long. He really gets into it, and loves the songs, as well as the characters. The colors are better than in the original Land Before Time movie, but the story line lacks a little. I found the characters to be good. I still have a problem with "sarah," as she is a whiny little snot most of the time. Just like in the original. Anyway, your kids will love this. Yes, to us adults it is cheezy, and predictable, but it wasn't made for adults. Your kids will love it. Heck, I am a cop, and I have found myself whistling some of the songs while on duty.

Read this reviews before You buy...

"Great series!", This is just one of a great series of movies...My 3 year old daughter wanted The Great Longneck Migration and from there it was history...I have been buying her every one I can in the series...This one in particular seems to be one of her favorites...She's been watching each of the 4 we have so far over and over(with 3 more on the way from Amazon)...Although the the issue of 'bad grammar' could be irritating to some adults, I think it is nothing compared to what some TV programs "teach" our kids...Better than sponge bob thats for sure!...Great movie...

"The English Issues.", Personally, I would love it if the characters spoke in a correct grammatical manner, but in real life there are many adults who cannot do that, so it would be unreasonable to expect child characters to do so. ( Besides, children watching the film probably would not notice, or be bothered if they did .)
Also, correct me if I am wrong, but I always thought that Ducky was female, so Cera is not the only girl in the group.
I enjoyed the film, but I think my favorite so far is " The Big Freeze " : I have a soft spot for Spike.
I am looking forward to number ten " The Great Migration " coming out in this country, though I do not know when that will be.

"Great Movie", My 2 yr old son loved this movie. It is his favorite and we have about 5 out of the series so far (don't waste your money on Through the Mists). He especially loves Moe and was thrilled when he went to the beach for the first time and got to see dolphins playing in the surf. It really connected for him the "big water" and Moe the dolphin-like swimmer. Yes Cera, as usual, is bratty and ugly but who doesn't have one of those kind of kids in their acquaintance. In the end she figures out it was really her insecurity causing her jealousy for no reason. Unfortunately our dvd has developed a spot where it freezes and I will have to purchase another one but it is worth it for the joy it brings my little man. This is a great video despite some of the other reviews and worth the money.

"bad grammar, bad examples", Was wondering why the behavior and grammar of my two kids has plummeted recently. This film is awful Me no let them watch it anymore!

"The three things your child may learn from this video...", 1)to behave just like Cera (or in other words--like a brat) 2)to head-butt (think: younger sibling) and, 3)to used improper English ("me want..."). I had to pull the plug on this movie after I figured out where my 3 year old was picking up these annoying, new habits. She, and I'm sure others, thought the dinosaurs were cute--I beg to differ. Cera is quite negative and bratty and also happens to be the only girl dinosaur in the movie--hmmm. Probably a so-so movie for kids that aren't affected too much by what they watch but I would think twice before purchasing it for an impressionable child.
