"Land Before Time II", You are just going to love "Chomper". What a delightful little fellow despite being a baby sharptooth. How "our" little guys win over the B-I-G sharptooths is a wonderful story for all.

"Awesome Movie!", This is one of the greatest Land Before Time Movies in the series. My daughter is two and a half and she can't get enough of this one! She wants to watch it over and over again, she just loves how it is about a little baby egg and wants the bad dinosaurs to give it back. Great movie, I recommend this to everyone!

"Not for kids under 6", My 6 and 7 year old daughters really liked the movie. But my four year old is waking up every night now having nightmares about T-Rex hunting her. Those T-Rex were too realistic. If the movie had been rated PG my rating would have been higher. So please be careful with your little ones. Kids under 6 can not distinguish between fiction and reality!!!

"More like a conversation.............", I am 13 and I own 1-8 of the series. As you have seen in my other reviews, I kept saying that the 7th one was the best. That's because it is true! Sure, the first one was nice, but very intense and Cera was really stupid in the first one. I liked the song in the credits. I am glad universal had one of Dianna Ross's songs in the first one. I used to love Chomper! I still think he's adorable, but I don't enjoy him as much.

So, about the movie, I think this is good, but they make some of the charcters, (like Ozzie and Strut) very stupid. I think the only charcter out this whole series that had a good role, was Petrie. I wish he had better grammer though, he would be a lot cuter. I think once they made the 8th one, things started getting out of hand. I really they still plan to keep The Land Before Time Spirit alive, if not, then maybe they should let new people in with new visons, new ideas, and so on...........

I hope so much Pterano and Allie come back in the future realses. (Next to Petrie, Pterano rocked! Go Micheal York!) Okay I am done now. I would suggust if you gave a family over 8 do not buy this.

"i love chomper", it maybe #2 in the serize but its #1 to me i love chomper i have 2 stufed littlefoots and 1 stufed chomers and 2 plasic chompers

"Teaches small children bad behavior!", My almost-three-year-old had been watching these movies for weeks
and I didn't figure out until recently that they have been teaching him bad behavior. First of all, one of the little dinosaurs screams constantly throughout these videos and this teaches little kids to scream just to make noise. The movies are also filled with smart-alec, bratty language that kids watching it will pick up on, like: "See you, wouldn't want to be you", and screaming, "Its not fair!" while stomping their feet. One of the movies has a scene where the kid dinosaurs are going to "Show the grown ups that we aren't babies anymore" by disobeying their parents and venturing into a dangerous swamp that they were told to stay out of.

There are so many good children's movies out there that teach good values and behavior. This is not one of them, however, and
as a parent I recommend not bringing it home.

"Baby loves it", Erika is 30 months and she wants to watch this one over and over. She likes the songs. She likes the baby T-Rex hatching from the egg. I sometimes put the songs (DVD) only so she could try singing and not watching too much of it. The only bad side of this video is the red eyes T-Rex, its a little scary for a 2 yrs old make sure a parent is there to watch it the 1st time.

"good for the younger viewers", After the fourth edition of these "Land Before Time" videos was released, I started to wonder why they didn't just make a TV show out of it. Many people will argue that the original is best, and I would have to agree with that too, but enjoying the other videos also depends a lot on age. I agree with another reviewer in that these videos really do work well for children; with the songs and everything, I think the videos from the 2nd one on would probably be almost more enjoyable for the kids. The first one is beautiful--a true classic in animated films--but the other ones are more fun for the kids. The first one speaks to all ages, but the others are very kid-friendly. Recommended for sure if you have children.

"Mesmerizingly bad, but hilarious.", These four stars are there both for levels of hilarty. One, mind numbingly awful songs. Two, bad voice work. Three, the sappy cornyness. Four, a few good intese scenes. I guess I should expect this since I'm not a 6 year old who loves all animated films. This could be for people who love a good laugh. Think of it as a well animated PLAN 9 FROM OUTER SPACE eithout the plot meets musicals about dinosaurs. For those who don't understand, I am talking about it's direct to video quality. Peace out!

"Shame! Shame!", I can't believe they turned it into a badly animated musical. The first one was so nice...you could tell they worked hard on it. From the second one on (I saw them all when my brother had his phase), it all went downhill. This brings shame to the Land Before Time. And Gabriel Damon.
