"I Still Throw This One In!"
My personal favorite in the series; Just the right length, the right location, the right era with that Scarface/Miami Vice feel, the blaring 80's soundtrack...One of the few games I go back to about every year or so; Challenging on many levels but not frustrating(well....hmmm...the remote helicopter was a chore at first...). Love the weather changes, the neon, the colorful cast of characters and the A grade voice work by alot of cool actors; The car selection was choice, too...There is no feeling compared to the first time I was driving 80mph in the rain listening to 'Obsession', trying to outrun the cops...Great story, too. This game has the whole package...STILL!

"Pretty cool"
Ill admit, I never got into the series over the years when it was big. This is the only gta ive ever played and barely today did I give it a chance. I think the surfaced news of GTA 4 brought me to see what it was about. I did play scarface which is almost the exact same kind of game so the game play was not new to me. Its fun to reflect and play games from the past to see how far they have come in the gameplay and graphics. Cant wait for GTA 4.

"Pimping Bloody & Voilent - OK but not the best "
This game is OK, but not the best of the series. The best I consider to be Grand Theft Auto San Andras. As far as these games go this series has the most expansive and explorable worlds. They have many elements that make them many games in one. You can drive vehicles, fly helicopters and planes, swim above and under water and drive boats and walk, run and jump. Even enter buildings and play pinball or pool. You can pick up hookers and go on a shooting spree. You can steal cars and blow things up. You can even parachute. You can kill people and make bloody messes. You can rob and steal. The music is fly. They are games that can be played for hours on end, if you like this sort of thing. Which I don't but the kids do. I especially enjoy the urban humor. Many cheat codes can be obtained. Liberty City has its limits compared to my favorite San Andras. If you play these sort of games these are some you should collect. But keep in mind I don't. I have better things to do with my time, like watch my computer's hard disk defragment. I'm just an old cranky man but my kids love these games. If you're the type who takes music and games too serious you may be offended by these games. If you're like me you'll let your kids have their music, low riding baggy pants and fun. Our kids are under a lot of world pressures, give them a break and let them scream a little. As long as they are pretending and not doing this crap for real everything is fine. Chill out parents, eat some fiber, everything will be OK.

"New to GTA? Where have you been?"
I'll begin by admitting, I've never been an advid fan of GTA, I think I only watched someone play the first one, it looked kind of fun, but that was it. My cousin introduced me to GTA III, which I spent almost a whole day (yes, almost 20 hours playing it) for the first time, after that I decided to get a PS2 and got me GTA Vice City. The game is FUN! I don't understand how some people can give this game bad reviews, yes, it has some glitches sometimes, yes, some missions are a pain, and yes, ALL the stuff you have to do to complete the game 100% might be overwhelming at first. But, with all that, this is a game that will keep you occupied for quite a long time, I still play it even though I've done most of the stuff the game requires for the simple fact that it's a good time killer. Why is it so good? Well, you have a great handful of missions, two islands to explore, 100 hidden items to look for, 35 rampages to beat, some races, some RC toy races, insane stunts to complete, taxi missions, ambulance missions, cop missions and even delivering pizza, ha! Vehicles? There's a vast array of those, sports cars, old cars, buses, cop cars, ambulances, fire trucks, SUVs, jeeps, motocycles, 18-wheelers, vans, even the oh so amazing...HELICOPTERS! Weapons? Yes sir, brass knuckles, machetes, knives, cleavers, baseball bats, screw drivers, katanas, clubs, chainsaws, guns, machine guns, mini guns, flame throwers, rocket launchers, SNIPER RIFLES...I may have forgotten others, but seriously, do you need more? Go and get this game, I've seen the USED price and it's more than worth it if you want to come along the GTA bandwagon.

"Good Game"
GTA vice city is a great game. The missions are fun and the voice acting is great. GTA 4 is gonna be the best game ever!!!!!
