"Great fun"
I play this game almost everyday. The graphics are great, the animals are realistic and hunting online rocks!! I would reccomend this game to any hunter. Even has dangerous animals that can attack you. Great Game!!

Great game play, seems quite realistic.
A novelty in the credit system. You get a certain amount of money to buy equipment for your hunt. By shooting your trophies, you add to $$ to your account. The difficulty of each hunt, type of animal, etc adds value to each hunt. As you accumulate money, you can buy better equipment.

I had no problem playing on a Dell laptop, with a P3 and XP

If you loved RMTH3-then move that one off your system-as this game will blow you away!! Not only does it have the animals moving about, feeding, even resting...their reaction is unbelievable when you approach too close or too quickly.
The game does come with an Editor-to which you can design your own map of your favorite hunting spot, or just a map that contains those animals you love would love to hunt in the 'real world'!
The graphics engine used out does the previous game, making RMTH3 look like a cartoon in comparison (although RMTH3 will always remain a classic to all die hard fans of this company). The games interface with the calls, game, and player, can often leave a person wondering at times-just how real or unreal is it.

It gets a 5 star rating here...but do double check your system's date/graphic card/video card/ etc...as it is best ran in the middle recommendation range for the best performance. You will not regret this purchase-it is the ultimate hunting expirence!

The game is really realistic. The hunter runs out of breath and he will start to shake if holding the gun up to long. the game lets you track animals and follow the blood trail to a bleeding elk or wolf. The only parts of the game i dont like is the cougars and wolfs will eat an animal that you spent an hour chasing and shooting and you wont beable to keep the animal. also you can kill an animal and walk up like ten feet from it and the game will end and you cant take the animal because you didnt get to it fast enough. but other than that it is a great game.

"A decent hunting game", It's good to see a hunting game that doesn't take some brand new computer to run it. You can easily go to the options and change the settings for a slower computer.

Graphics - Even on low settings, the graphics are fairly well done. The trees look bad, but the lakes/creeks & landscape all look good. You will even see the wind blowing the grass in the fields. And seeing the rain and snow is pretty cool too.

Sound - You can hear the wind blowing and the rain fall. You can also hear many different animals, from birds churping to the animals you're calling in if they are nearby.

Weapons - About 20 in all. Automatics & Semi, Pump-Action, Bolt Action, Lever (It's all here). And about 4 bows.

Animals - Elk, Moose, Bear, Lion etc... You do have a limit though which sucks.

Calls - You have mouth calls for almost all animals, different foods & certain animal scents you can spray on.

Maps - About 10 to choose from. You can add more if you look around on the internet.

Other - From Tree Stands, to ground tents. From riding a horse, 4-wheeler, or truck. This game is pretty well rounded. Just don't get killed by a charging Bear or wild animal ;).

"DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!!!", WARNING: Dont buy Trophy Hunter 2003 from Atari! I just bought this game and I was sooo disappointed! The graphics are HORRIBLE and makes the game really unenjoyable. Also the game is really slow like when you move around or try to walk or anything like that! And my computers up to date on all of this games requirments!!! So dont get Trophy Hunter 2003! Its a waste of money! I suggest you go out and buy Rocky Mountain Trophy Hunter 3!!!!I promise you'll enjoy it more than this game!! I have also heard a lot of complants on the horrible graphics and of how slow the game is!!


"So real my wife got sick and never wants to see it again....", Yes, it is a great hunting game. I am no hunter and will never kill a real animal. I will shoot arcade animals and this is a great game for anyone who does not want to get wet,lost or muddy. It would have been better if the animals charge you while you shot at it. The horse is the best vehicle to use. It can be fun just spoting animals or chasing bears around.

"Awesome Game!!!!!", The game graphics are as close to realistic as I have seen. Someone else mentioned the animals reactions when you miss, incredible realism. The controls are simple to use. Game play is challenging and fun. There are several different animals you can hunt, along with different guns and bows to hunt them with. In addition, there are several areas you can choose from. All the possibile scenerios should keep any computer hunting fan glued to their monitor for hours.

I also like the elements of danger that are possible. For example, I was tooting on the moose call and suddenly a bull moose charged over the hill and ran me over before I could react. Fortunately I was able to bag another bull moose and get enough credits to buy a tripod stand.

If you like hunting games I think you'll love this one.

"Play it every day", I thaught this game was awesome, I wish I knew how to get more areas to play in, but it is really realistic, if you shoot the animal in different areas it reacts in a different way, it is just a well put together game, I recomend this game to everyone who plays hunting games!!! If you don't own it you should!

"Very cool!! Wonderful engine and pictures!!", I'm from Brazil, and I had a possibility to see and play this game, where it was created. It's, for me, and a lot of a person, the best game of hunt, if was done in the last years. Certainly, this game have the best engine, picture, emotion and everything you can imagine about a real hunt!!! Don't lost that chance, play this game quickly.... heheheh... when it arrives in your country!!!
