Oh yeah, I really HATE John Maddens commentary during the game. I dont mind the play by play announcer, but JM just gets on my nerves with his stupid remarks that he repeats every game. There should be an option to turn him off.

"Madden 2003.....is better then 2002"
This game is definitely better than 2002. But I do have some problems with it. First of all, the defense is slow. When a quarterback makes a pass to a wide receiver and your defense is trying to catch up with him, the defense is slow. But the defense is awesome when it comes to the pass/rush stuff. The ask madden feature is also great too. U press that lil button and you'll never lose a game. The graphics are tight. Everything about this game is ill. Well, not everything, but most of it is.

"Solid game, way better than Madden 2002"
Last years Madden 2002 was horrible even the worst quarterbacks could pass for more than 400 years in this game... well Madden came out with the new Madden 2003, graphically Madden is stunning, very real and like life from the players to the referees. They really pushed the graphics one more level with this game. Maybe the best graphics in the whole EA Sports series to date...But the best thing in this game has to be the Franchise mode with 30 years in the making it is a micro management game in its own way to with drafting and trading players.. Probably the best yet.

Only one dislike I've found is the sound. Al Michaels and John Madden are in this game, but the commentary is a bit repetitive and boring, they should have added more expressions to their voices, but it is still better than Madden 2002's commentary

"WOO"
this game is amazing.the graphics are awsome although the crowd does look kinda fake.the field degration isnt there either.and what about the niforms.playing a game in poring down rain and your uniform doesnt get dirty???c'mon fellas add some player realism to it.the gameplay is good although sometimes the computer can bust a ridiculously long pass even when triple covered.it gets annoying after a while.sometimes with under two minutes to go the computer magically puts together an unstoppable drive and score.its kinda gay.the referees can get in your way too and can really make you mad.overall ima hafta give this game a three star rating.maybe the next madden will contain some more realism in the graphics and the crowd.

"EA gets it right"
Well last year Madden 2002 has horrible, just to break the surface. The whole AI was terrible, but now Madden 2003 improves on this problems. First AI is improved, passing game is much better, commentary is still a little dry but it has definitely improved and more great graphics from EA. But the online mode is still terrible. After 6 months you have to pay a [$] fee every month after 6 months is a joke.

Good things are better gameplay though that is very important because you will not see those quick passes late in the game that kills your score on the game. Passing is more balanced with the swatting the ball. Interesting how they now have a challenge mode. Where you can challenge a play if you think the ref make a wrong decision. The refs are very realistic with audio and videos of them, different types of refs for your game. Mini camp is good for pratice.

More improvents boost Maddens game up some stars for me, all around a good game.
