"DOES NOT WORK"
I purchased this product in hopes of learning how to play the guitar, instead i got a dvd that doesnt work. the language is all messed up and some of the chapters dont even work. i would never recommend this product to anyone, learning or otherwise.

"Great For Beginners"
About a month ago I purchased a guitar and this video. It has worked very well in teaching the basics. I am a complete novice on the guitar, and Keith Wyatt does an excellent job of teaching. I highly recommend this!!!

"Good Intro"
This DVD is great. Good explanations, good introduction. It is as it says for the new beginner. However, an experienced viewer won't be disappointed either.

"Great beginner reference"

This really is a great starting point for guitar. Keith Wyatt has been around a long time and is a top-notch teacher. The DVD brings you through the basics of chords and scales (all with practice tracks that are very helpful) and then brings you up to example rhythm parts for country/blues/rock and then closes with an example lead part for the same three genres of music.

I learned more from this DVD than I did in a month and a half of lessons with a teacher. I strongly recommend this DVD.

"Excellent way to learn..."
I am a raw beginner, so I did not want a learning dvd with someone playing hard just for playing sake. I have learned much more within just the first few chapters than I have with other lessions.

The pace is good and the instructor pleasant to work with.

Highly recommended.
