"Great Vacations!", The Sims Vacation Expansion Pack was another package I put off getting and I am sorry I did so. I used purchased it through a user on Amazon and got a really great deal on it and have found it's quite a fun game! You can go snowboarding, fishing, sleep in an igloo, tent, or a hotel...see the beach...it's pretty limitless. Not only that but you have games at almost every place you goto. By collecting tickets, you can win souveniers which you can bring home and place on curio cabinets (just like the pet trophies in Sims Pets). You have another challenge, the group/family who participates the most among the 'campers' in the various camps, win some kind of award. I'm not sure what that is since I've not won yet - heh. But I certain have been trying! I would suspect this would be easier if you have a coulple of kids running around as well as two parents.

Nevertheless, I have found the games to be a lot of fun and there's a lot of humor behind the games. Like punting a chicken through the air? I still laugh when I hear that chicken sqwuak. You aren't tied down to any area either, if you're in the snowy mountains, you can call for transport to the beach front hotel if you like. Or the fishing grounds and camp out. What really surprised me, is you can buy postcards, and then mail them off to anyone you've met back in old town or Sim town while you're on vacation! I absolutely loved that feature. Regardless, I still can't believe I put off getting this expansion pack for so long, but I'm sure glad I have it now.

"The Sims are always a blast", All of the Sims games are extremely fun, and the Vacation Expansion Pack is no exception. I have spent many fun-filled hours playing this games. Any fan of the Sims games will love this expansion pack.

"Tired of your days? Have a vacation!", Bored with your daily activities around the house? Give your character a little rest on vacation and have yourself enjoy the new features in Vacation Expansion Pack.

Call a travel agent and get off your house for a camp, skiing in a ski resort, shopping in malls, or go to the beach. Every place has accomodation so you can stay overnight there. Different places have different activities for you to enjoy your vacation. You can do BBQ on a camp site, shopping in malls, 'treasure hunt' on the beach, or make a snowman and play 'ski' on the ski resort.

Don't worry about being absent from your work. The time stops while you're on vacation! :D

"The sims are the ultimate in simulation games", I enjoy all the sims games. I have collected all of the original sims games now I'm on my way to collecting the sims 2 games.

"Vacation?!?!", Whoa! What a game! In this vacation game, you could do more actions then the actions in the neighborhood. And this is like the same thing like YOU do when you go to vacation. It's almost the same thing! And if the Sims can talk to you, they probably would say thank you for bringing them to vacation. I like the game because, the Sims can play games, win tickets, buy prizes, rent tents and - this is interrupt because there is SO much things you could do and less time. I noticed that every new Sims game you install, you get more things.

If I was in one of the hotels I would play all day long and forget about eating or my energy. I would fish,(If my dad lets me.)and swim too. One of my FAVORITE things to do is build hotels. If I hadn't seen this game, I would have only read, draw, Play Battle Front(A Playstation game.),Do other electronics, sleep and play cards.

"sasha's review", I really like everything about this game! I like that the Sims can go on vacation several times. You can buy one rug that costs a lot...it's a white bear rug that the Sims can sit on. There are more beds to choose from when you want to buy a bed. Another thing I really like about this game is when the Sims rent a metal detector. They find really funny things like old boots, money, and treasure! You can get a lot of prize tokens and get lots of stuffed animals. There isn't anything that I don't like about this game.

"The Sims Vacation Expansion Pack", I rated this 3 stars because well, it's not just as good as the other Sims expansion packs. At first, I thought this game would be cool, but I hardly even go on vacation! It's really a waste! I recommend other Sims expansion packs. I have this, Unleashed, and Superstar. I'm not sure if you have a lot it slows down the computer. But 3 is fine. (I guess! It works fine on my computer!) That's why I'm not sure to buy anymore Sims. But I do say Sims is a really cool game! Just not this one, it's really boring! Sims2 is out, my cousin bought it and it was really really really really slow! But I say Sims2 looks cool... But hopefully when any of you buy it, it won't be as slow as my cousin's! Cuz it better not be slow if it's 50 bucks! I hope my review helped! :)?

"EA Needs a Vacation For This One", The Sims: Vacation expansion pack isn't really drooled over much. This is probably the second expansion pack which enables Sims to leave the neighborhood and go to Vacation Island which is divided into lots based on themes like the woods; and snow and ski resorts.

The only positive thing I can think about it is it's a good place for your Sims to runaway to especially if they're in the makings of becoming a star. Unlike Hot Date, here sims (still on the fame-seeking ones)'ll have a chance to mend their relationships and their Fun, while even though this is enabled in downtown, sims couldn't sleep there. But on Vacation Island, sims can spend as many days as they like and contantly refresh themselves before going back to face the music.

Apart from that, this expansion pack wouldn't really be missed if it wasn't for The Sims Superstar.

"nicely done", yeah, its definitly pretty cool. but the thing is,if u have like,the sims deluxe or something, ur better off just getting from the library or from a friend, because once you download it u dont need the cd
