"so so hard but very very fun"
This game is one of the most difficultest game that i have but it a pretty cool and fun game!

"A Bit Too Hard"
I've had this game for about a year and I LOVE it! It's fun, challenging, and long. But it's a bit too hard. Like on mission 6. One hit from that mobile suit's beam rifle and BOOM! How are you supposed to fight something like that? I FINALLY got past it after about 13 tries. It's a great game, but I would have liked it more if it was a bit easier.

"The Best Yet !!!"
I love this game 10 out of 5 stars but I dont recomend renting this one because its a long one. Dont underestimate it if you cant get past the 6th level (THE GUNDAM one) because the real fun doesnt start until you've come across a dom. It's graphics are mind boggleing along with some tight game play, and a bitter taste of stratagy makes this one a real challenge even for a true gundam geek. I've had it for over 6 months (not includeing the 6 game rentals)and havent beaten it until a little while ago, and I think that shows you what a challenge it is learn how to set up routes or know what support is best for each specific mission. The enenmies in this one are equal to you in all aspects of the game like fire power or armor and the farther you go the the more relient your allies are of you with your skills. There are some really cool new machines like the Gundam Mudrock or the GM S-armor. So, with all of these traites I think this is the best one out there (compared to FED. vs ZEON or Journey to Jaburo.)

"Mechanized, squad-based action at its best!"
My little cousin gave me this game since he didn't really play it that much at all. I tried the first few levels and I was hooked. Basically, you experience the One Year War through the perspective of the Principality of Zeon. So, instead of piloting a Gundam, Guntank, or Guncannon you get to pilot the Zeon mobile suits: Zaku I, Zaku II, Gouf, and Dom. This game is kind of like "Rainbow Six", but with giant robots, so fans of that game should get this one. Anyway, you play each mission with 2 or 3 groups and each group could have up to three mobile suits, numbering up to 9 mobile suits at once! However, the safety in numbers routine won't always help, because sometimes the enemy (Earth Federation) outnumbers your team by a long-shot!

There are 13 missions in this game and almost as many training/simulation missions. Sometimes, the simulations can be more difficult than the real missions! Three of the simulations are almost impossible to beat: the first is when you must destroy the Gundam piloted by Amuro Ray. The Gundam is far too powerful to face head-on, so the best way to beat him is to make all the team members surround the Gundam or attack it all at the same time, get behind it while it faces your teammates, and take him out with a well placed bazooka shot or heat hawk slash.(Make sure that all your team leaders aren't killed in missions or you'll fail). The second hard simulation is when you have to destroy the Gouf piloted by Lieutenant Ramba Ral who is guarded by countless Zakus, Magellas, and missile turrets. The third one is when you have to destroy The Black Tri-stars piloting their Doms (which are practically unstoppable.) This game follows the Gundam series and you see how certain incidents in the series affect Zeon and your team, like the death of Captain Garma Zabi, the battles against the Trojan Horse, and the invasion of Jaburo. The gameplay is great and controlling giant mechs is certainly outstanding, so go ahead and buy this game whether you're a Gundam freak, giant robot fan, or cooperative game player. Although some missions are almost impossible, don't give up: if I can do it, you... might be able to do it.

"One of oh w8 the only gundam game i've played"
This game is one of the best games i've ever played for ps2 besides GTA vice city this game is packed full of weapons, enemies, strategies, mobilesuits, and adventures. being able to have up to 9 i believe mobile suits in 3 teams makes your job a little bit easier. the graphics are extremely realistic and i love the game. but i have only rented it the only thing that I don't like about this game is some of the load times and the enemies are a little tough mostly tanks and gun platforms you barely go up against other enemy mobile suits. overall the game is sweet and reliable to give you a good time.

What our customer's say!

"Gundam World meets Tom Clancy", This game is very similar to Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six and kind of plays like it. You take a squad of mobile suits and battle other ms's in the enemy side. You also change the weapons, armor, and even upgrade the mobile suit of your characters which is nice. For example, later in the game, you can upgrade a Zaku II into a Gouf, and so forth...

Remember most of the games in the Gundam series? Remember when you are always the Federation? This time around, you are in total control of your own squadron of Zeonic ms's and use tactics to overcome your enemies, which are the Earth Federation.

Sieg Zeon!

"the best ever", this was a very hard game to beat in the end. And to tell you the truth i still don't know if i beat it but all in all it was the best gundam game ever. Much more challenging than the other Gundam games.

"Such a great game, I can't say enough.", This is by far one of my favourite Gundam games out there, there is something for everyone. Personally I can't decide what my fave bit is, I love the range of mobile suits and weapons, as well as the fact that you play solely as the Zeon's. This game is unique to any other I've played since it is heavily strategy based and requires a lot of practice to build up skill.

As you go on, the missions get progressively harder, and with loads of different mission styles, you won't get bored for a long time, trust me. Another reason I loved this game, is because it has a completely original story and a set of brand new characters created solely for this game.

Replay value is excellent, I've played this game for hours on end. Once you complete the game once, you can play it again on an increased difficulty with more enemy mobile suits; plus, with plenty of secret characters, this game'll keep you occupied for months.

"Great Game for anyone!", This game is based on the ill fated Zion Dukedom's side of the story. Its a great game beacuse you get to pilot Zaku's Goufs and Doms. You have control of a Mobile Suit Team consisting of a Comanders unit and two others. In some levels you are alloted either a 2nd or 3rd team in your group. It starts off somewhat hard due to the capabilities of your suits or the lack there of. Mission 6 is as everyone is saying a tough mission. A smoke grenade and some fancy footwork will get you through no problem. The controls are difficult to understand at first but once you get them youve got em. They arent that much more difficult than other first person shooters. The game is tough the 1st time through until you get the Dom or hover type Mobile suits. Then it becomes much more simpler. After you beat it the first time you arent really every resupplied as you were the 1st time through and thats a shame. But instead you get simulator updates where you can redo missions at differnt difficulties and earn hidden suits. You can also unlock federation simulators. If you beat alot of the simulator missions you can get your Unit Comanders suit a high performance Zaku 1, you can get the Red Comet, The black Tri-Stars, Ramba Ral, Garma Zabi's Zaku 2, and a few others. And for all of you who complain about level 6, you can GET THE GUNDAM! in the simulators. This is by far one of the most replayable games out there. You beat it replay it and do it again. Ive beaten it 7 times on one file and have earn the S rank on most of the simulators, this gives you alot of goodies. You can play this game for hours on end. You get to see many mecha from the 0079 era. Enjoy this game!!

"not as hard as everyone makes it seem", great game with lots of hidden levels/characters. great gameplay and lots of action. its only hard until you realize how everything works. once you do its just tons of fun. and for all of those people out there that like the federation forces...well you can unlock almost all of them including some pretty awesome gundams...any gundam fan should buy this. TONS of special features.

Read this reviews before You buy...

"hard...yet fun", i bought zeonic front with high expectations. and i think that i got my moneys worth. im dissapointed at how short the missions are but their so fun that i always look forward to the next one. it realy lacks a 2 player mode though. graphics are great sound great gameplay great diffaculty is negotianable(im on level five and i havnt lost a mission yet)im actualy looking forward to the feared level "7". the mobile suits need more weapons and the equiping is a bit diffacult. but other than that i wold have given this a 5 if it werent for the lack of weapons and mobile suits. overall i give it a 4.

"The Balance of this game", This game i guess should be 3 and a half... But this game unlike journy to Jaburo and "Federation V.S. Zeon has extremely high graphics but unfortunately it took me literally 300 tries to beat the 6th mission out of 40!!!! Then i finally beat it and found out it will be like that for the rest of the way through it. Overall the graphics are great the need for strategic skill exists(such as needed in mission 6!)(like i had to put 2 teams on patrol routes and 1 i piloted myself and after the right time period switched to my gouf unit found white base and got the data!) you have to do that after getting data on the enemy... Then get their attention with the 3rd team and have the team that went north on patrol to go under your control and find white base stay in a safe spot and target it!!!(hard huh)well as always i got side tracked!! The controls are tricky and you'll have to do the training several times over to understand combat.
The game is for someone in the army most likely or someone who understands the game(i'm not either of them!) Well i hope this review was helpful if you want to buy this game.

PS: when up against gundam unless you have armor bonuses he gets 1 hit k.o.'s!!! And i'm a very good gamer and am good at most vg's(video games)
From The gundamseriesfan

"Zeonic Front......A gamers dream.......get out and get it!!!", Zeonic Front...a gamers dream....get out of that recliner and get it!!!!I got this game from my mom for easter and i screamed! i was waiting forever to get it. anyway i loaded it up and got to work.i beat it twice.it took awhile but its awsome you can make sweet combos like Rick dom with a beam rifle.if you like the recent GUNDAM JOURNEY TO JABORO this is a MUST HAVE!it has awsome graffics.Ill will say hi to the older leage of reviewers out there i LOVE your reviwes!!! E-mail me!!!!see ya on the flipside gamers.i hope this reveiw helped you i havent done this before.

"this game [is really bad]", this game [is really bad], I mean you can't even boost, the controls are extremely hard to memerise and you can't even get past the seventh level because you have to fight the Gundam, the Guntank, and the Guncannon! and one hit by the Gundam and you're dead so this game [is really bad]

"Rainbow 6....... with Mobile Suits!!!!!!!", First off this game is not a RTS (real time strategy) like another reviewer said. It's more of a squad based (or company based if you want to get technical) tactical simulator. You control up to three platoons (3 MS's each) of suits and assign weapons, pilots, equipment and orders to each. You also assign routes, waypoints and rules of engagement to each platoon (avoid or attack). The controls in mission are ok but until you get the last MS (I forgot the name) you don't have very much in the way of mobility. (The fact that your MS's have paper thin armor doesnt help the situation any.) All in all its a good game with a good amount of strategy and action thrown in.
