"Great Editor"
Having not done web construction before, I was a little concerned with the fact that there wasnt alot of help and tutorials associated with this product. However, from reviews I decided to jump in anyway. Im glad I did. Though it took a bit of time to get the hang of it, I now compare it to friends products like GoLive and Frontpage and it seems a better product than all of them. I especially like how easy it is to set hyperlinks and to do image manipulation. The fact that you cant see a split screen hasnt been any great problem because I seldom do HTML writing. When I do I just jump back and forth. Great all around editor for people with limited web authoring skills but that dont need their hand held every step of the way. If you need tutorials to show you every step and dont like to think outside the box then this isnt for you.

"A balance of power & simplicity"
My first experience with the web in 1995 hooked me. Within a year I was fumbling around trying to make a web page. After failing in my attempt at raw-coding HTML, I ran across Netscape Composer. Netscape's rudimentary WYSWYG web page maker allowed me to gain the knowledge to create my first web page. Since then, I've experimented with Symantec Visual Cafe, Adobe Page Mill, Microsoft FrontPage, MacroMedia DreamWeaver and Adobe GoLive. I've learned a few things along the way. At some point in time you have to have a basic understanding of HTML code, even if you choose not to create web pages by hand coding. Creating web pages is a bit more complicated than doing a flyer, brochure or other graphic design layout. You have to ensure that the code that is produced is compatable across a wide range of operating systems and browsers that make up the internet.

Given the above, I'd like to add my endorsement of Namo WebEditor. First of all, the fact that this product is distributed by JASC says a lot. JASC has a knack at offering software that is powerful, easy to use, and low priced. Namo WebEditor fits all this criteria. Whether you are an average user, or a serious designer, Namo WebEditor is all you need. I'd rate it higher than DreamWeaver. And, unless you're in a big project, multi-developer, environment Namo WebEditor probably surpasses Adobe GoLive. If you are a novice, any web editing WYSWYG software has a learning curve. FrontPage is probably the easiest to learn, but in my opinion, Namo is no more difficult to learn than FrontPage. If you are a novice, you definitely want to buy the boxed version of Name WebEditor to take advantage of the printed manual. Namo WebEditor allows full web site management - from managing your web site to full FTP capabilities. I've also discovered that Namo WebEditor probably writes the cleanest code of all the web authoring programs available. This is important for ensuring fast-loading web pages that are compatable in the most popular browsers. To sum this review up, Namo WebEditor is powerful, feature rich, and serious web authoring software. If you're looking for WYSWYG web authoring, save yourself some money, save the trouble of searching the gamut of available products. Get Namo WebEditor.

"Two Thumbs up !!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Wheather you are a professional webmaster or just a
beginner, this is what you gotta get. For beginners, this program has all - really all - that you need. And
support is always avialable off their home page. If you are beginner in web, then you have bundle of
really good pre-designed web themes - you just have to enter your data in order to create very nice web page. This can be done in less than three minutes!
If you are a professional web designer this program is also a must. I've used an array
of software over the years to create my work and none has ever been so effective as this piece. It offers a
combination of every tool you can imagine along with usable reference to correct problems. If you are a
professional you'll understand the need for movable tools and especially ones that don't kill work
space. The fact that the windows does not dock is simply amazing. And please, don't ever compare this
program to Front Page. Front Page is good only for starters. From a professionals point of view Namo
does everything. And just look at the price. It is the best value you can get.

"Easy to use!"
I have tried to build a web site with many different programs from FrontPage, cool web page, Dreamweaver and netobjects fusiion and nothing has been easier to use then Namo. I was able to layout a page in no time and make it look the way I wanted. ... . It even comes with some really nice buttons, banners, to add some spice to your site.

Namo has a demo on the site that shows you how the program works and by watching that I learned mostly everything I needed to use the program.

The only problem I've had so far is getting the smart buttons sot show on the site once the site is uploaded. But I have only used the program for a few days so it may be something I did or didn't do. I am using the trial version and I am going to buy the full version.

This is a cross between dreamweavers power and the ease of use of lower end programs without being lame.

I am not a web developer and I am a newbie at web desing.

"Not Really for Novices"
The promotional material states that Namo is a good product for both novices and professional web page designers. Well, I am a novice and it is greatly lacking in help for the unschooled user. There is no program-based tutorial. The web page help appears to be populated by experienced designers. What's more, there is no traditional book available for those who order the download version. I am an experienced computer user and have actually designed web pages already, but wanted something to make it real easy. this may be that, but I think you need to be at a higher level before you can use Namo. You need to have a good working knowledge of web page design terminology to use it.

Most software that you buy lets you starts from scratch. Not Namo.

What our customer's say!

"Best of the bunch...", At least for most. This program is so wonderfully discoverable. I would not call it simple for the beginner... but an excellent entry point to serious web building for the beginner. The program is expandable to the know-how of the advanced user, and definitely a scary challenger for the high-end/expensive big boys. I have explored Dreamweaver, Frontpage, GoLive, Bonfire, etc... and my favorite pick is, and will most likely remain, this affordable gem.

"Go for it!", After extensive research, I selected Namo for its features and low price. Reading reviews from download.com, I almost purchased MS frontpage or macromedia's dreamweaver. But, I tried them all first by downloading trial versions and found that Namo is the best value. ...

"GO NAMO INTERACTION!", I'd like to say that this program is really easy to use once you get to know how. It has many features that not many of other programs has. And the other thing i wanted to say is that this program is originally from South Korea. And Jasc Inc. translated it to fit in English computers. I used Namo WebEditor when I was in Korea too. I have the 4.0 version but because I have a Dell computer now it doesn't work.

"GO NAMO INTERACTION!", Namo Web Editor is by Jasc Inc. but orginally from South Korea's Namo Interaction, i was using the program for a long time in Korea too and I just LOVE the program. it's kinda expensive but it's worth it! and very simple and easy to use!

"The best Web software out there!", My Namo Webeditor5 arrived today and I can't believe how simple, how easy, and how perfectly it worked. I read the other reviews here, all of which sounded good except for the last one. I wondered if it would really turn out to be as easy as it was proclaimed to be. Sure enough - it was! I LOVE this software and highly recommend it to anyone. The interface is so simple to use, but also packed with so many fabulous features. I can't wait to spend more time with it!
