"totally useless", My son wanted a wheel to use on his PS2 for Christmas. I purchased this item for him along with PS Nascar 07. He has a few other driving games as well. My son has tried to use this wheel with his driving games and none of them even recognize the wheel as being attached to the PS2. Ive had no success in getting it to work. In contacting the company, there has been no help in figuring out what might be wrong with the wheel. I couldnt get a refund because it only had a 15 day return policy and I purchased it too early in December. (Partially my fault in buying too early and not reading the return policy.) So I am not happy with this item nor the company who sold it.

"ASM does funky things", Hey I just wanted to make a note... I noticed when playing GT3 that if you had the driving Aids turned on the wheel would kind of drive itself a bit and that caused the who feel of the game to be a bit funky... But when turned off the wheel behaves and feels great!

"Great Wheel----Good Realism", I bought this wheel a little while ago and din't really play with it much. But this week I got it out and was stunned!!
The handling is good and the wheel notices all the little movments you make!! Its not at tall lose so as soon as you move it you see it on screen! There is no wait between turning the wheel and moving the wheels on screen the pedals have a nice feel to them aswell! I would recomend this product!

"terrible", waste of time and money. does not even fit in your lap. easyer to use control. played with three games and wasnt fun on all of them.

"Great addition to PS2", Bought this wheel after using a Logitech wheel for the PC and loved it, ... Feed back is a little inconsistant while taking large corners but you have to remember, this is a game not real life. Wheel response is more than acceptable for making your PS2 driving games more realistic ... Logitech pedal base could be bigger with better grip for whatever floor it is on. Based from my personal experience, if you are stuck ... buy the Logitech and let the wanna-be's have the Madcatz. The logitech is well worth the extra [money].

"Almost...but not quite", Ever feel the "need for speed" but wanted to stay safe within the boundries of the speed limit?.... Logitech introducesthe Force Feedback Wheel to up the dream a bit, and yes, it is as close to racing as you'll get without turning the ignition. This wheel gives gamers the chance to feel the road as if the wheel is part of an actial car driving on the streets of...lets say..Rome?....then again, Maybe streetracing isn't your thing and preffer the rough and complicated terrain of rally racing in the Tahiti Maze?...either way, thius wheel will satisfy even the most passive of gamers...both car fans and not. The pedals are preasure sensitive, as well as the wheel itself. There are a few set-backs...the buttons do get in the way sometimes and the paddel shifters are annoying to work with unless you've driven a Ferrari 360 Spider equiped with paddel shifetrs. (Paddel shifters rest behind the wheel on both sides. The right paddel is for up-shift and the left for down-shift) It would have been in the best interest to have included a stick shifter or better yet an actual clutch. Either than that. this wheel is the best out there. Its was designed for the GT Serries so it's compatibility with other games are dependent on the game compatibility with the wheel. If you can afford to spend for this wheel, then go for it. If your worried about worth, then compare this to spending housrs in the arcade. ...there is no substitute for this wheel

"Don't use it to play ''Burnout 2''", This is a very very very good steering wheel. but the psx2 game called ''Burnout 2''(a super fun game) is really just to much for it to handel. needs to be a little better put together in order to play this game. but that is the only bad thing i ever found with it. cause mine broke after a few weeks of playing the game Larry

"Unacceptable at any price!", A good looking wheel, and the "official" wheel for GT3 - these are the reasons I got this setup. It's an understatement to say that it has been a outrageous disappointment. The force feedback is not only unrealistic (feeble), but there is a significant lag in the force feedback and some in driving input. The feedback feature served only to disrupt the driving experience rather than enhancing it. The shifter paddles also would not respond at any turn larger than 40 degrees, and therefore rendered themselves unusable. The wheels will sometimes go "berserk", start jerking to one side and cease to function completely in the middle of a race. The only remedy is to disconnect the USB connector and reconnect it (resets the wheel). All these happened while playing with GT3, the game that the wheel is built for. It has so far not worked with any other driving game I played. This wheel is loaded with nothing but nightmares, and it feels like a developer product at its infant stage. To make sure, I got this wheel twice: once when it was introduced and again after almost a year. Nothing changed, same problems. It's absolutely outrageous that GT3 would endorse a wheel with such poor quality, and worse yet, leave it that way. If you want a good steering wheel controller, look elsewhere. It's the most expensive wheel for PS2, but probably performs like one of the worst. There finally are some force feedback competetors out for PS2 so that this is no longer the ONLY force feedback wheel for PS2. Thank goodness for that.

"Really bad and why", Tried this "steering" wheel with Grand Tursimo 3 A-Spec on a Sony Playstation2.

Bad:
I immediately disabled the Force Feedback feature. The feel is really, really bad, no where close to a real car with or without power steering.

Worse:
There is a significant lag in time before the game reacts to steering inputs from the wheel. The result is drunken weaving at low speed and alternate guard rail crashes at higher speeds. If my real RX-7 worked like this I would die before I got to the end of my street.

This steering wheel would be unacceptable at one tenth the price.
