"BEST EVER!", This is my all time favorite magazine of all time. It can appeal to everyone! It has articles ranging from sports to cars to clothes to relationships. Love it more than anything!!!! I have read every one since 2001!

"Fashion, style, and opinion all in one!", GQ is always full of interesting fashion tips, and suggestions for today's man - looking to better his sense of style, charm, and taste. It offers a variety of different topics including mens health, fashion, and even political views. Personally, I look forward to the cologne samples packed in the magazine, as well as the various websites they offer.

"2nd year of subscribing!", I subscribe to 3 mens magazines:
- Best Men
- Esquire
- GQ

Of the 3, GQ has possibly the best style tips, merchandise, and fashion articles. However, the other articles aren't so well written as Esquire, whose approach is usually on the humorous side. Best Men, well, it has a very down-to-earth approach to writing, which may or may not be loved (sometimes I find it a little too serious of a tone in a magazine).

All in all, each magazine serves an individual purpose, which is why I still continue to subscribe to GQ!

"Horrible subscription service", I would not subscribe to this magazine if you actually want to get it. I got a gift subscription in December...the January issue arrived mid-February...and today (March 10) I got the February issue. Didn't get a response from customer service. I also agree with other reviewers who say it is sort of watered down. If you really want it, don't subscribe, just buy one every 4 or 5 months. You won't be missing much.

"Great magazine", GQ isn't what it used to be but it's not bad either. Overall, the magazine is still one of the best overall men's magazine.

"The articles are informative and concise.",
There are very good health and relationship sections, money management, investment suggestions, travel tips, cuisine, social issues, etc.




"not too bad if you ask me...", Many reviewers note that GQ magazine for men has lost its way; and perhaps they are right. Recently, more and more in every magazine I purchase there are countless ads practically spilling out of every issue. Sure, some of the ads are about fashion but you also have to be rather well off to buy the very expensive (but beautiful and stylish) clothing and more that is advertised. In addition, politics has entered into the magazine like never before; and this "waters down" the fashion consciousness of the magazine.

On the other hand, however, the reader does get good articles on food and restaurants by Alan Richman and there are still many articles on fashion styles. An occasional celebrity interview can be of interest should the celebrity offer their personal advice about fashion trends and what they personally like to wear. In addition, there are interesting articles on culture, although admittedly this does take away space from articles about fashion.

Like another reviewer notes, I also look forward to the cologne ads that feature a little bit of the scent of the cologne. That way you can sniff the cologne to see if it meets your tastes!

Overall, GQ has changed; it's been watered down a little to the extent where the emphasis is no longer quite so much on fashion. However, this may appeal to new subscribers to the magazine; and as far as current subscribers go I still think there's enough of the really good stuff to keep us reading GQ.


"LETTING YOU KNOW WHATS OUT HERE", I enjoy GQ magazine because, they show men what is out here for good grooming and dressing nice. I actually get upset when an edition of GQ does not offer any free cologne "sniffs". One thing that I would like to mention about GQ, is that I do appreciate the fact, that their photography includes a woman's TOES. Maybe one day they will feature a slightly more raunchy issue, where more of a woman's breast are shown. Or, maybe I had better leave that alone, because the "rainbows" may then need to see something more also.
