"Works as expected"
I've had 2 of these memory cards for about a month now and they worked just as good as the Sony versions, for half the price. I was a little hesitant with the off brand, but so far, so good.

"I Have The New 2007 Model"
I just recently purchased the Nyko PS2 Memory Card with a NEW colour scheme. Instead of the old yellow-and-black, this PS2 card is now white-and-blue. Of course it will work just as good as the standard Sony PS2 card but I just love the new version and how it looks. Hopefully [...] will have the new Nyko PS2 cards in white-and-blue for sale in the near future.

"Better buy genuine product from console maker"
I don't know exactly why it is, but usually memory devices for game console made by 3rd-party manufacturers are inferior in quality. They are cheaper, of course. However, I experienced a couple times of complete data loss from 3rd-party memories from the time of PS1. The situations were all the same: both 3rd-party and genuine memories were inserted to console all the time, yet only 3rd-party one failed.

Not all 3rd-party memories will fail, of course. Even memories from same company show difference. However, since I haven't experienced data failure from genuine memories yet, I do recommend you to buy genuine memory, rather than to test your luck.

"waste of buying a memory card"
this memory card by NYKO is a very bad thing to buy, here is the number one reason

1. after a few months of using this card your data and saves becomes corrupt.

look bottom line is this card is a rip off and it is not reliable.

I use normal Sony Playstation 2 8mb Memory cards and they work fine!
With Sony Cards they data and saves do not get corrupt, and they are very reliable memory cards.

Stick with Sony 8MB Memory Cards and you will never have a problum.

"This card sucks"
Ok so i've had this for well about 2 weeks and idk somethin happend and all my stuff i had saved became corrupted and even after i cleared it,it just never stops corrupting data.This is one of those things where you feel good to save money but then you find out that it wasn't worth the box it came in.I think it would be a good ideal to stay away from this and get the brand of the thing your gonna be puttin it in.
