"Math Adventures is Great!" I bought RR Math Adventures three years ago, and my son who is now almost 8 has used it off and on ever since. When he was younger I sat with him and explained some of the easier concepts, and little by little, he has finished the disk. I'm especially impressed by his understanding of fractions - which they haven't had in school yet, and currency - since we don't even live in the U.S. and he's never even seen U.S. money. Not to mention that English is a second language for him. I think that speaks very well of the teaching methods of this program. I've also run it on Win98 and XP with no problems. We've enjoyed this disk very much.
"outstanding!" My oldest son was having a lot of trouble in grade two with both math and reading and I purchased this CD-rom hoping it would help him to learn by having more fun and not even realizing he was learning. I was not let down. He loves to play this game. The story line is great and very entertaining and the graphics are excellent. Overall I highly recommend this game to help any child to master early grade math skills. Well woth the money.
"A kid favorite!" My sons will be in 2nd and 3rd grade in the fall. They just love this game and would rather play it than any of their other games. I hope to find a sequel for they will be done with this game before long.
"we love it" We got this software for our five year old daughter and she loves it. At first she needed some parents' help. But soon she likes to play by herself, occasionally asks some questions. She got it a few weeks ago and has already learned so much from it. Her favorite parts are actually pretty challenging for a five year old -- fraction, money and time. She will need to learn some more from school to play the difficult part of this game, but she can already "play" most of it. she enjoys play and learn at the same time. we are very happy about this game. Our daughter is a very advanced five year old who joins 2nd grade reading group in her school everyday. This software helps her catch up with the math part and really enjoy it.
"Your child will learn math!" This is a great math game. The colors are bold and music is entertaining. It can be a little fustrating swimming through the stream to get the right answers for younger ones.

What our customer's say!
"Reader Rabbit Math Ages 6-9", My boys really enjoy this math game, however it seems pretty simple and they were able to finish the game relatively quickly. I think it is a good buy.
"Great Gift to my 6 year old niece", When I was wondering about what gift to give to my niece who is fond of using PC and playing, my friend suggested to get her PC based kids software. I later did some research on all kinds of softwares available to by and found Readers Rabbit series the most appealing to kids. As suggested by friend I bought Math 6-9 and few other Readers Rabbit and they are great fun and learning experience for kids to start learning math. I definitely recommend this to all kids to learn math at early age.
"Reader Rabbit Math Rabbit", My kindergarten son loves this game. He is 6 and ahead of most of his classmates but I wanted him to get some practice with addition, subtraction, money and telling time. He gets all that and more with plenty of repetition because he wants to build that ship and escape from the Pie Rats. He gets a new piece of the ship every time he correctly answers enough math problems...which aren't just basic arithmetic equations. He wants to play it before and after school. He loves showing me what rank he has achieved. He has gotten more from this math game than the other 2 I purchased. I would have just bought this one had I known how much he'd use it.
"Reader Rabbit Math Adventure ", I bought this product for my 9 yr old. The game is well made and has a theme behind it. Players have to solve a variety of math puzzles before achieving the objective of the game. Most kids will like this game and it should improve their math skills.
"Really good for a second grader!", My twin daughters were given this gift (math adventure ages 6-9) for x-mas when they were barely six years old. At the time, this game was WAY too advanced for them, and it actually irritated me because I had to help them out so much with it. Zip forward a few years and they are now eight years old and in the second grade. I put this game on a few days ago and was amazed at how useful it is now. It uses shapes, fractions, money, time, addition and subtraction. I strongly recommend this program, it closely matches concepts taught in the second grade and is very good practice (and a good way to get them out of your hair for a few minutes) :)

Read this reviews before You buy..."Great for summer between 3rd and 4th grade", My sister literally sat down for 5 hours playing it! She finished it in 2 days! She was hooked (she's crazy about gamecube, and apparently, this program was right up her alley). Although I'm not sure if six year olds will really be able to handle it (some of the concepts seem too advanced for the average six year old), it is great for second and third graders, particularly the summer before fourth grade (which is when my sister played it). "Educational and fun!", ...The Reader Rabbit series are great because they offer great ways to learn while keeping things simple and fun in a cartoon-like format. The software is easy to install and I found that my 1st grader could easily navigate the program without getting stuck. ...[I]look forward to purchasing further copies. "A definitely must have!!", This program is great fun and educational for any kid between the ages of 5 and 9. My 4 year old loves to play even though he hardly understands math concepts. He sees the fun his older siblings are having and therefore joins in. My 2nd grader gets easily frustrated with math but not with this software, simply because it is entertaining and he does not even realize that he is doing math. "He plays it willingly and learns along the way!", This is the best math program I've seen. Though I have more exploring planned I know already there are plenty of turkeys. The tragedy is that math is (IMHO :) interesting and practical, yet drill-and-kill programs never make it seem that way. RR Math is partly a drill program but disguised in arcade-style games. My almost 6-y.o. has rekindled his interest in RR Math and had played a lot over the last week, and has even been cajoled to ratchet up the skill levels -- with the promise he can always go back down. The program can also auto-ratchet the skill level. Most of the individual activities are reasonably fun, though the animation is pretty crude by the standards of other programs (Think early "Speed Racer" or other made-for-TV cartoons :). I'm impressed they put in an activity for counting money, something that's not all that simple I realized when I tried to explain it. The telling-time activity likewise gets quite challenging. As you can see, I've been watching over his shoulder and haven't been bored away, although the repeating theme music *really* gets on your nerves after a while. (It can be turned off, but HE likes it.) I predict playing these "games" helps my son towards a familiarity and confidence with numbers that makes the more advanced stuff later on less intimidating. But realize it is still the grown-ups who teach the actual math, as well as we can!
