"Pretty Good....", This game is pretty good. It's deffinetly not as good as NFL Street, though. In the game you have a very wide selection of NBA players from Michael Jordan to Larry Bird to Shaquille O'Neil. The graphics are pretty bad to tell you the truth. That's one of the main flaws in the game. I like the idea of 'Be a Legend'. It's cool. The gameplay is waaaay over the top. None of this stuff is believable. I mean, they defy the laws of gravity!!! It's cool and all, but completely unrealistic! I would reccomend this game for basketball fans and fans of NFL Street. Otherwise, you may not even want to rent this game. Personally, though, I like this game.

"Classic game! Multi-player games are OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!", Like all great games, this game is addictive. Be A Legend mode reels you in and doesn't let you go. You'll be customizing your baller, practicing trick moves and dunks, and battling ballers with mad game till the break of dawn, or later.

The game's controls are unbelievably precise. Once you get them down completely, you will feel a freedom most sports games don't allow you. You will be throwing down back 2 papas, off the heezays, and double gamebreakers with pride as your opponents scramble for the ball.

On legendary, Be A Legend mode is truly challenging, but it's the most rewarding way to play the game. One of the most exciting moments in the game is when you finally "crown" one of your baller's attributes. And once you max a player out, the game is more fun than ever. If you really want to be crazy (like me), play the game until you've accumulated enough points to max out at least 6 players, but make sure each one has a different crown (steals, dunks, shots)...

Then play 4-man multi-player with those ballers! Then you will be to the heart of what makes this game a classic. Also, when playing multi-player, be sure to put the difficulty mode on legendary. This will make each team's computer player participate better.

The multi-player aspect of this game is the absolute best part. There have been weeks on end during which my friends and I would do nothing but play this game. The laughs were endless! The victory and humiliation were sick! We couldn't get enough. There aren't many games than can beat the sheer excitement of two vs. two multi-player in NBA Street Volume 2.

I've never played the first Street, but I tried playing the third one not long after it came out. I wasn't convinced. It had new features that seemed cool (like the slam dunk contest), but it lacked the all-around goodness of volume 2. In all honesty, I think volume 2 is the only one you'll ever need.

Also, the music selection is good, the character physics are impressive, and the variety of courts is cool. The icing on the cake is fine-tuning a character to have all of your favorite tricks, dunks, and apparel so that you can trash your buddies with unforgiving majesty! Dah hahahaha!!!

I want to personally thank EA Sports (EA Big) for this game. They really accomplished something special here. Get yourself and your friends into this game. You will not regret it.

This is easily one of the most fun and addictive multi-player games available for the Playstation 2.

"Love it", This games is so fun. Once I blew off a Usher concert to play this game. I started and couldn't stop playing. I competed the game 11 times. I am now on my 12th time. You will LOVE this game. It has actual commentaries in it. The players also talk. Two thumbs up

"The best of the best!", I like this game especially the new gamebraker and the "off the heazy" and the " Back 2 Papa" technique. It was even better with all the street legends: Earvin Johnson, Larry Bird, James Worthy, Isiah Thomas, Clyde Drexler, Moses Malone, Dominique Wilklins, Wilt Chamberlain, Jerry West, David Thompson, Rick Barry, Connie Hawkins, Bill Walton, Julius Erving, Walt Frazier, Earl Monroe, George Gervin, Pete Maravich, Oscar Robertson, Elgin Baylor, Bill Russell, and last but not least Michael Jordan. I give this movie a 5 out of 5.

"Mike D come and rock the sure shot!", Great sports game because it combines the action of basketball with its own sense of fun, irreverence and personality -- the gameplay is amazing, the announcer is hilarious, the hip hop soundtrack is tremendously good, the players and their abilities are precise and unique and the AI serves up plenty of surprises. Plus, you can create your own characters (mine is fat with a huge afro and he dresses like a bum but he's great at long range shots).

I don't play many sports games. They're great and all but I'm more of a GTA devotee - I like shooting, I like driving, I like blowing stuff up. Still, the weekend after someone loaned me their copy of this game, I had to buy it, it was just too much fun, and even a year later continue to pop it in and play away.

"Off the Shizzle... Fizzle", I only write reviews to games I really love, and Street 2 is no exeption. Forget about NBA Live, or Streeet 1, or any of those, because Street 2 is the real deal. My friend got this game when it first came out, and I would meet with him just to play it. Then I got it myself and I still play it all the time.
When playing this game, don't bother with NBA tourniments, (I can't spell) go straight to "Be a Legend"- it's a lot more fun. You get to build up your team fromsoem crappy white guys from New York, to NBA stars, NBA Legends, (MJ, Magic, Larry, DR. J) and some customized people from the game, like Stretch Monroe. Man, that guy's good.

"Where do I even begin? First off, there is NOTHING good about this game whatsoever. It's just the same thing over and over again. There's no dunk competition, three-point shootout, one-on-one, or anything like that. You ust play the exact same type of game again and again, with little-to-no differences between them. I'd also like to say that EVERY character almost looks exactly the same. But that's not all, there's actually tons of little thing that annoy me about the game. Here is basically the list of things that suck in this game:

The horrible passing system. I always seem to find myself trying to pass the ball to one of my teammates, but the stupid passing system makes me pass it to my other teammate instead. This usually results in the ball being quickly stolen, all due to the fact that the makers of the game didn't even make a key for passes (Both NBA 2K3 and NBA Live 2003 have a passing key, which allows you to pass the ball to anyone you want to pass it to).

There's nothing of interest to unlock. The only thing you get are a few jerseys for a created player, some crappy rappers, and some stupid made up players. The thing that annoys me is how they jack up the rapper's skills. For instance, the St. Lunatics team has a perfect team rating. So this game is saying that the St. Lunatics are better then every team in the entire league and are equally as good as the NBA legends? I don't know about you, but this seems like a slap to the face of every player to ever play in the NBA.

This game is just boring. You only get to play one styles of basketball: 3-on-3 Street games. Most of these games just feature the computer doing retarded looking moves throughout the WHOLE ENTIRE GAME. This gets extremely annoying because the computer just stalls again and again, constantly wasting your time with moves that you've probably seen countless of times before if you've played only one game."

If unlocking Magic Johnson and Ervin is not fun then you need a hard of the hezay wake up call pal.

Street ball is all about 3 on 3 half- ot full court pal and I know it since I played street ball for 3 years now.

"best basketball game ever!!!!!!!", the game is the best. It got street legends like strech, bonifide, and biggielittle. It also has bill walton, magic Johnson and even Larry Bird. It has a pick up game, NBA challenge where you try to beat every nba team and legends, And it has to be a legend where you create a player and try to make him a legend. it has a lot of new courts too. if i was you i would buy this game!!!!!!

"An Increadible Experience", Let me start by saying this game is amazing. It is increadibly expansive and new. Streetball has been around for a long time but this is the game that made it mainstream. Street 2 combines the craziest fake outs, dunks, and tricks with cool ghetto lingo (You know that stuff that sounds good untill you say it)and alot of classic appreciation. The controlls are slightly tricky if you haven't played street1 but other than that the game is a complete head rush. Heres the deal on the game modes. Of course you can choose an NBA team and play a game with all the fancy junk still in it. There's an NBA challenge where you take an NBA team and dismantle NBA divisions in a row to unlock courts. The best mode is definetly be a legend! You create a character and play games against the local play ground teams. For winning you can steal the other teams characters and get ability points so that you no longer stink. Eventually you face street legends like Dimes, Bonafide, Stretch, biggie little and you get a ghetto nickname.(Ice water, Strings, Cosmic)Your team becomes good with the edition of the legends and you get to try out their signature moves.The goodies continue from there with NBA Legends like Bird, Wilt the still, Pistol Pete, Three versions of MJ, The lord of the Dunk DR. J (Julius Erving) it becomes insainly fun.
Give street a try and you won't be dissapointed. In fact you'll probably be awstruck.
