"Excellent firewire Cable", The Belkin F3N402-03-ICE 4-Pin to 4-Pin FireWire Cable is a good quality Firewire that I have used several times. This one was three feet long. I plan to buy another one six feet long. This cable is of good quality and works well for me. I certainly recommend this cable.

"Hooked Up", We recently had a 10-foot FireWire cable wear out (the connector at one end went bad) and chose this cable to replace it. We wanted a shorter cable, as we use it to download video from a video camera to a laptop, and they are usually sitting right next to each other. This 3-foot cable fit the bill, and we have been using it a couple of months with no problems.

"the right connection", This 4-pin to 4-pin firewire cable was exactly the cable I needed to connect my 10+ year old digital camcorder to a computer. I had not used my camera in a while, and none of the cables I had seemed to work with any of the computers I now own; the local electronics stores did not carry anything that would work; but my laptop had a 4-pin firewire port, and so did my camera, and I was able to find this cable on Amazon. It does the job perfectly.

"Performs as expected", This cable does what it is supposed to do and it seems to be well constructed.

"Works great... for the first week or so.", This cable is not durable. We ordered three of them for the college where I work. The first one worked great the first two weeks, but now the cable won't stay tight, the connection is intermittent at best. The second won't carry a signal at all. I'm going to make use of the lifetime warranty.

Read this reviews before You buy...

"Product as advertised", I was a little sceptical ordering this item as I had read another review that there was nothing on the packaging that said it was actually a Belkin product. The package I received was indeed without a doubt Belkin and it works great for transferring video to my laptop which is the reason it was purchased. I would recommend it to anyone for that purpose.

"Cheap and wonderful", I was bit confused after reading negative reviews. I received the product and oooh..it is the best..for 9 buck who would give this cable for you?. The build quality the superb. IT records my video beautifully(though i used for a day only) ..I have not got any problem with this. I believe that this is original belkin. I don't care if it is not. Another thing is I checked this cable in local radio shack ($33) and that also did not have belkin name on the cable. Do not worry about whether this is belkin or not. Amazon can not sell duplicate Belkin product so public. So, go ahead and buy it ..no body sells cheaper than this.

"Works fine", Not much to say. It's a cable. Works just fine. All Firewire cables are pretty much the same. This on is nice and cheap (especially if you have Amazon Prime to give free shipping).


"Why Pay More", I bought this to use with my Canon Elura 100 and laptop. The "store" model was exactly the same and much more expensive. Other than taking over 3 weeks to arrive, I am completely satisfied with my purchase.

"Great cable without the expense", I bought this cable in order to replace my broken one. My old one was six feet long and so stiff that after only 2 months of use it ceased to function. This cable in the instances that I used it so far has worked perfectly with great picture and easy connectivity. Along with the fact that its only three feet long and costs a third of what I paid for my original cable its a great piece of hardware at a bargain price.
