"The best paper for my Canon printer.", I have a Canon Pro 9000 printer and print at home using my desktop PC, and Adobe 5.0 software. I initially tried the highest quality paper from four manufactures, until I had a nozzle problem. Having bought the two year extended warranty and calling Canon, they sent me to a local repair expert who got me a brand new replacement Pro 9000, and I have used Canon Photo Paper Pro ever since without any need to even clean the nozzles. I have a Nikon film camera, FE model and am ecstatic that I can get CD's and rival ANY pro photo shop I have ever tried. It's a dream come true as I used to use the Beseler two step subtractive chemicals in a dark room closet at home with the Beseler 23c series. This is so much easier and so consistent. No comparison.

"Best photo paper you can buy", I use this paper for all of my prints on the MP530 and the picture quality is incredible. It is as good as or better than most commercial reprint places so I always print my own picture.

"I ordered paper too big for my printer, be careful when ordering", I returned this for 4x6 and 5x7 paper. Makes excellent quality photos from your camera printer

"Wow!", I have used many different brands and types of paper for printing photos, but I have been completely won over by this paper. I have had so many compliments on the "photo lab" look, and many people turn the photos over to see where they were processed! While it is expensive paper (which is why I gave 4 stars rather than 5), it is the only one I'll use to print my keeper photos. I have friends who say they have switched to using this, too.

"Best Paper for Canon S9000", I use other, cheaper paper for proofs and for prints of snapshots, but my favorite paper is this one. The Easy Print software from Canon offers Photo Paper Pro as one of the options when you pick your paper type for printing. Easy Print then uses the Photo Paper Pro profile when it sends the image to the Canon printer. Elegant and easy. The Pro line of papers is heavy and glossy, and the prints are beautiful.

"Great PHOTO paper", Not much to say here except that this is great paper. If you can afford it, buy it. I would buy it all the time, except I think it's too expensive. But if you want the best prints for your pictures and you've used a Canon camera and a Canon printer, then you should definitely get this paper.

"Exceptional Photo Paper", I used this paper with my Canon i950 printer and the results were indistinguishable from photo lab prints. I've used other photo papers and have achieved good results but none that compare to what this paper will produce.

"Amazing clarity. Color saturation sometimes lacking.", I have been using this paper with my Canon i850. Until I bought this paper, I had seen nothing that produced such amazing clarity, sharpness, and preservation of highlights. There is absolutely no grain. The paper has no tackiness when it comes out of the printer and the print surface is absolutely smooth (some papers produce a kind of outline of the objects in the picture which you can see when you hold the picture so that there's a glare across the surface). The whites are very bright and clean, and the blacks are perfect.

In printing out a number of my photos, I noticed that the paper has some trouble reproducing very saturated emerald greens. This bothered me, as I do a lot of landscape photography of very green places like Scotland and Maine. I did a print test using several of my pictures and six different photo paper stocks: Canon Photo Paper Pro, Kodak Ultima Picture Paper, and four Ilford stocks: Classic Gloss, Classic Pearl, Smooth Gloss and Smooth Pearl. I discovered that of the 6 stocks, the Canon paper and the Ilford Smooth papers were the best. The Kodak Ultima and the Ilford Classic papers all had two immediately obvious disadvantages: they were tacky for some time after printing, and there was grain in the black areas.

The Canon paper is perhaps the slightest bit better at reproducing tiny details. Its bright whites are whiter than the Ilford Smooth whites. Its highlights are more sharply rendered than the Ilford Smooth highlights... but only marginally so. The Ilford Smooth produces deep, magnificent greens and richer reds, and renders faint pastel blues and greens faithfully instead of letting them fall off to white or gray like the Canon paper. So there are advantages to both, and I imagine which paper is best depends on what kind of picture you are printing. I will still use both papers, but I do really like the fact that the Ilford Smooth Gloss paper can be purchased in 25, 100, or 250 page packs, and costs between 43¢ and 60¢ a page instead of the Canon paper's 80¢ per page. You should try them both!

"Well Worth the Money", Expensive paper but if you want the best possible photos this is the way to go. Can't tell the difference between photos printed on this paper and the ones I get from the photo developers. Just wish the stuff was not so expensive :(
