"Very well done"
This game is definitely one of my favorites. I played it for over three and a half hours at my friend's house. It's a great game! I was completely hooked. I'm a skater, and I appreciate things like this. The desighners of this game did an excellent job of making this. Sure, the graphics aren't as hot as tony hawk's pro skater 3, but you must consider that this game is over less than half of the price. It has several two player modes, excellent sound effects, and you can desighn your own skateboard park, choosing from a wide selection of ramps, rails, etc. This game is worth every penny you put into it. Have fun!

"Better graphics, hidden levels from THPS1 Fabulous!"
Pro Skater is a skateboarding game like no other, first, chose from 13 pro skaters each with their own tricks, stats and special moves or create your own custom made pro skater. Then have them skate in eight detailed skate parks (eight more hidden!). For each skate park you skate in, there are a number of goals to accomplish for each, such getting high scores by earning points from performing tricks, grinds, and jumps over gaps (like building to building), collecting the letters SKATE, grinding three rails, jumping over fire hydrants and various other things, they vary from level to level. When you complete a goal you get money to gain cash that you can buy new skateboards, upgrades to better your skater and you can also buy bigger tricks. Having a little brother that loves Tony Hawk, he now has Tony Hawk 2 on every gaming system, and I must say that Tony Hawk 2 for the PC is by far the best! First off, the price, second the graphics are a huge step up from the Playstation and N64 versions, such as very detailed textures and even graffiti looks great. Also the fact that it is on your computer lets you save limitless games, demos and skate parks (you are limited to only three created skaters though)! You can download skate parks from the Internet and play them too. Finally, the best part is that you can earn hidden courses from the first Tony Hawk Pro Skater, but unfortunately you must enable them one at a time! You do however NEED a controller, because the keyboard is poorly configured to use with this game!

"The best game I have ever played!!"
I love this game!! This is the only game that I can play over and over and over and... well, you get the idea... I beat this game about a full year ago, and I still go back and play. The network multiplayer games didn't work for me, but my computer isn't exactly State-of-the-Art... Horse is fun, and Career Mode is awesome. Every level provides new challenges, although you still have to collect SKATE in each one :-). Get this game!

"Greatest game ever"
This game is absolutely awesome. It has consumed my life for the last month. Every time you think you have done everything in the game, you find out you have just started. Get through all the levels- you still gotta 100% them. Beat it with one person-there is still like 10 more skaters. Beat it with every skater-you still can go back and get all the gaps. This game is absolutely addictive. It is very challenging, but the great thing is that if you keep at it, you will get it. It is slightly unrealistic ( you can't do 15 different grinds with flip tricks in between each on one rail in real life), but that is part of what makes it fun. Worth every single cent.

"Skate with the pros"
Even though I am more of an adventure/RPG gamer, I really liked Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2. Travel to different cities and parks, go for the gold in three skate competitions, choose from the best pro skaters or create your own, even design and test play your own skate park! Also, there are multiplayer games, some that you only need one computer to play on, others that you can play through a network connection. This game has it all.
