"Horrible"
This game is horrible i mean it is cool to make your own ship but there are only so many classes you can choose from.I also dont like that you cant even drive your on ship the computer just takes it on its own mision.the missions stink because they take so long i spent 45 min on i mission waiting the the game 2 finish the mission with my ship

Waist of your $$$$$$$

"Starship SELF-DESTRUCT Creator"
What in the name of creation led to the production of this revolting pile of poop. If Starship Creator and its Deluxe edition weren't enough of an embarrassment, then the authors certainly achieved what has to be the greatest defacation of software garbage in the ST gaming genre. I personally couldn't believe that I actually bought this worthless piece of junk, but in saving face, I can admit that I did so based on name alone- lowering my opinion for the licensing standards of the ST name that Paramount retains. Whoever created second edition of this game should be shot. It maintains the same rediculous promises that it never delivers in previous versions and worse yet, it leaves out ships that were part of previous releases. On the upside, it allows you to export the ships you create the into Dominion Wars DS9 game which might be useful. Otherwise, you are wasting time as far as a stand alone product, especially if you are expecting to have a good time. Evidently, what passes for fun with Simon & Schuster is the kind of game that plays like a DOS reject, without the frills, bells or whistles. To make matters worse, its graphic content reflects this philosophy making it the worst ST game I have ever played. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS GAME. You will not experience any actual gameplay outside of selecting parts or crew members from a list. This game bites.

"Warp 2"
This is a terrible game, has potential but the gameplay was awful, slow and lagging even with a new G4 I was impressed at how poorly it performed. It seemed like a novel idea but it just could'nt pull through. Maybe if it didn't freeze all the time I would be patient enough to sit through the constant lagging....

"it [is weak]"
don't buy this game.. you don't have as much fun as they say you will... very very limiting!

"Expansion, but not worth it"
I was excited about the STSC and got it as soon as it came out. That was a dumb purchase. You get to play adventures but all you do is click and you can walk away for a few minutes. There is no real adventure. STSC Warp 2 is the exact same thing. With the exception of a few ships. Don't waste your time.

"Oh my damn", This game sucks, seriously. there are no other words to say about it.

"interested, but not in gameplay", Here, I am trying to find a good build your own starship from the star trek universe. And what is there? Build your own ship and take it out and get blown up. There are plenty of software out there for that. I want a software that lets me build different star trek ships (LOTS of them, not just 7,8,9, or 10). Is there such a software? I hope someone makes one. Put it in an external hard drive, Heck i'D buy it!

"worst ever", this game is my #100 game I've ever played... out of 100! This game is HORRIBLE. Don't waste your money on this as it takes forever to play the mission, and i haven't used it for months. i'd recommend starfleet command if you are looking for the next step up. notice the prices... $0.01??? tells you it is cheap. i do not like it. all you do is change the ship around, add crew, and then wait for 30 minutes and finally it sometimes will blow your ship up, and you can't use it again.

"Doesnt Work", I've had this game sitting around for awhile and finally stumbled on it out in my garage, threw it in my laptop and installed. After fittling with it for about an hour I put it back in its box and put it back in the garage. I dont know about the game play since it continually told me it needed me to insert a CD that was already in my DVD Drive. But thats what I get for trying to install somthing with a $6 sticker on the box and is meant for Win98 and minimum system Requirements is ruffly 10 times slower then my computer.

"If it worked, I might like it", To be fair, I bought the game when it first came out and have just now installed it. And I can't get it to work. The program tells me that there is no CD in the drive, when it IS in there. And the website is apparently gone, so I have no idea how to get tech support. I may edit this review if I actually get it work, but right now I'm irritated at finally having a computer the software would work with and it still not working. Grrrrrr.

Read this reviews before You buy...

"A must for starship lovers!", Although this game is advertised as a sequel to the original Starship Creator, it's more of a second expansion pack. Even though it's true that this game doesn't have any cool starship action like the Armada games, it does require a different kind of strategy on the gamer's part. The object of the game is to build the best ship possible, and send the right ship on the right mission. Before you get this game however, I strongly suggest that you buy the original and the add-on pack, or the Deluxe Starship Creator which includes both. You will be able to copy ship classes from those games onto Warp 2, therefore making Warp 2 more enjoyable.

The updates included in this game make it better than its predecessors. New features include the ability to import a picture of yourself in a Starfleet uniform, sending two ships out at a time and giving them seperate tasks, and many new missions just to name a few.

In addition to the updates, the game itself is easier to work with. Creating your own missions no longer requires one to be a computer programmer since Warp 2 comes with a Mission Creator program. It's also easier to add crewmembers to the game.

This game is ideal for Trek fans that like the designs of the ships used on the shows and movies, and like designing their own. Warp 2 has seven classes to choose from, but can have up to eleven if one updates it. Although some may complain about the relative uneventfulness of the missions, the whole point of playing this game is designing your very own fleet and outfitting your ships with the most advanced systems possible. If that's something you've always wanted to do in a game, and you don't mind slow missions, I recommend this.

"BOOOOOR-ing.", How bad is it? Where do I even START! Low resolution, 2D graphics, and cheezy sound effects lead into ZERO interactivity on "game play." Spend an eternity simply watching your tiny, 2D ship, and reading Star Trek cliche's in text format. No improvement from the original, with no documentation---their Website's even offline! At best, a tiny (50% of my screen) screensaver, for fans of Next Generation's computer interfaces only. Don't waste your time.

"Well i'll give it this", Considering how bad the first one was I didn't expect its sequel to be any different. It wasn't combines the worst of all worlds, chessy soudtrack, chessy graphics and a missions operations manual that defifes all logic and reason.

"really good game!", this game is good. I love giving starships refits and building soverign class ships all classes of starships are great to build each one has a specific ability that sets it apart from the others such as the b'rel class cloaking device all in all this is a really good game!

"The most boring game I have ever purchased.", This game came bundled with Deep Space Nine: Dominion Wars, so I should not have expected much. I had purchased the original Starship Creator, and I was very disappointed with it also. I had hoped that the game was going to be improved over the original. Unfortunatly, this is not the case. You have no ability to control the missions once they are started, so basically you must sit back and wait and wait and wait. Eventually you will grow weary of the empty unsatisfying feeling in your gut and turn the game off. By far the worse game I have ever played. Please don't get your hopes up like I did and play this "game".
