"Don't blink... you'll miss it", Very short, games looks like they are from about 10 years ago, the only thing that makes it somewhat worthwhile is the story. One word.... STUPID.

"Entirely mediocre, inlcuding the story....", I agree with another reviewer, this should have been freeware. Not only is this a TOTAL waste of money, but a lot of it is really disturbing, AND the graphics and games are so lame! The "sounds" are really sick, I mean how often can you listen to someone being stabbed or strangled? Why would you want to? The only good screensaver is a demented clown, but again, the graphics left me wanting SO much more! And the screensavers--forget it. They range from crappy animation to again, really queasy and mysoginist! What kind of person wants to see a woman stabbed over and over agian as she struggles for help? And you can see this scene played out in every room of the house! Yech! Don't get uppity, I AM a King fan, but this collection of sickness, plus a TOTALLY mediocre story are a big time and money waste!

"A Great Gift for the Horror Collector", For those of you who aren't familiar with F-13, it is a complition of games, screen savers, scary sounds, backdrops, and a short story. My favorite backdrop is the cemetery. I tried using the screensavers (It's just lightning was my favorite.) and had memory problems on both my Performa and my iMac. Any suggestions out there? There are oodles of scary sounds, some of which grossed me out. The games are good too. Whack-a-Zombie is challenging and very addictive. I liked the variety of the ghouls in this game. Bug Splat is somewhat addicting and very gory. No Swimming was fun for five minutes, but then got a little boring after the fifth cow got eaten. More variety could've been used with that game.Everything's Eventual was very good. I won't spoil the plot for you. You will just have to go out and buy it for yourself.

"Know what you're buying!", For the few people that complain that F13 is not a real game--read the reviews, preview the package BEFORE you buy--if you were expecting a full-length, feature game then you only have yourself to blame! It's evident that it's a time-killer rather than the standard computer game. However, for true Stephen King fans (and for those who love to find new ways to kill time at the computer), this is a must have. Great features, lots of fun...and purely King.

"Too much fun!", I am a real estate agent and I have the murder and mayhem screen saver(great looking house that changes seasons) on my computer at work and EVERYONE that sees it gets a big kick out of it! The games are fun also!

"Loveit!", As a King fan I think this is a fun addition for my software library. Very creepy but not too gorey for my kids to see, as a matter of fact they think its really cool!

"great graphics and sound", they could have included more sound bytes to export for other uses on your computer, but overall this is a well-put-together piece of software. the screensavers are wonderful (the guy sleeping with all the king-esque things going on around him is the best, in my opinion), and the inclusion of a king short story is just icing on the cake.

"Control, Alt, Shiver", This is a must have for old and new fans alike, the creepy sounds and wallpapers as well as the ghoulish games will keep you busy for a while. As an added perk, you get to have SK himself typing up a new spooky read from the corner of your desktop window. Control, Alt, Shiver is right!

"A must have for Stephen King fans!", Well, so far, I've played the games associated with this piece of software. I must say this: Wow! A little gross in the bug department, but that's what the first "Creepshow" was all about. I must say the Pirahna game is a bit cruel at times to look at, but still good.

The short story, "Everything's Eventual", is something I'm saving myself for. I like King's short stories, but with what I spent on this game, I want to wait a little while. I'll get back to everyone later on with my review. Maybe I'll give it five stars by then.

"A Stephen King Fan Must-Have", As Stephen King's Number One Fan (wink, wink), I can only say how awesome it is to have Stephen King's F13 running on my computer. It's gory graphics and creepy sounds are just what I'd expect from the "king of horror". My particularly favorite feature is having Stephen King in a corner of my screen clacking away at a new story in real-time. That and a new (lengthy) short story. I won't give too much away, but it is one of his creepier ones. I would definitely recommend this product to a friend.
