"Monster Cable i200 Stereo Interlink", All smoke and mirrors with Monster Cable. These cables are really not much better than those 'In The Box' cables that come with the equipment. I found the barrels to be so tight on these it took a lot of extra force just to connect them to my components. There was absolutely no improvement in sound quality as Monster claims its interconnects to provide. This is all marketing hype in my opinion with Monster Cables. All packaged in some slick looking plastic with a jacked up price tag. For the price Monster is charging the consumer you could invest those hard earned dollars into something like Blue Jeans Cable or Signal Cable interconnect and/or speaker cable at a competitive price compared to Monster's, in some cases less expensive and get a far superior product plus way better sounding system than what any Monster Cable could provide. Consumers would still be better off purchasing a very low cost and highly regarded mono price cable than a Monster Cable. My most honest opinion.

"Worth it for the psychosomatic benefits!", Despite their claims, I could hear no audible difference with alternative, reasonably priced cables.

"You don't have to spend thousands of dollars upgrading your components to achieve high quality audio reproduction. You simply need to upgrade your systems connections with high quality Monster Standard Interlink 200 audio interconnect cables."

No, you may not have to spend thousands to upgrade your component sounds, but investing in good quality components and speakers will make a difference. Spending extra on the ad agency copy that Monster Cables specializes in will only improve your mental image of your stereo.
Then again, satisfaction is all in your head.
If you don't immediately sense how patronizing AND incorrect the above quote is, you probably should follow their advice.

"Monster with feet of clay", These cables appear so massive that they could never break. But 2 of the RCA-type end connectors out of 6 total had too loose a grip to make a solid and permanent connection. I had to tighten them with needle-nose pliers. Never had that happen with cheap cables.

"A must for home theater systems.", I purchased these cables in connection with a new Toshiba DVD player, and it sure makes a difference in the audio quality over my old audio cables. If you enjoy high quality audio with virtually no distortion or interference, monster audio cables are a must.
