"Very sefull"
Very useful and cheap CD/DVD disk organizer. I combined it with some other stuff and got free shipping.

"Thank You Fellowes"
I have been a Case Logic person for years but due to their incredibly flimsy pages I had to switch. This was the single best CD carrying case on the market thanks to its sturdy design and I refuse to use any others. If you want a CD/DVD carrying case that doesn't have flimsy pages and a weak design then you need to look no further then this product.

"Hello, Fellowes, goodbye CDProjects"
As a victim of shoddy CD wallets for years -- rings that become warped seemingly on their own, plastic tabs that scratch the backs of CDs, etc. -- the Fellowes case is a welcome respite from the $40+ lower quality units from CDProjects. Fellowes' construction is tighter, CD pages better designed, zipper a lot more sturdy. The built-in polish cloth is likewise clever (albeit somewhat useless being physically attached to the case).

Perhaps I stand alone, but in my humble opinion ringed enclosures are a nuisance in larger capacity CD wallets. Simply put, these wallets can't handle the bulk weight of the CD's, not to mention the girth of the pages squashed into them. This Fellowes case (plus a similar CaseLogic offering I purchased last year) can handle what its designed to...and well.

In sum, this case is a steal at this price. SuperSaver shipping makes you feel almost as if Amazon is paying YOU for it. :)

"Wrote this for the wrong one (^. ^;) THIS one is correct!"
I have three of these, and have had one of them for... wow... almost 10 years?! Is that right? Wow, I'm getting really old or my memory is failing. Either way, as my collections grew I purchased more.
The handle is very sturdy, with the stitching like better backpacks I've owned. Even full (and I'll have to buy a fourth one soon), there is no sign of problems here.
The zippers are self-healing, which is good because when full they occasionally separate, but this only happens when I'm rushing to close them. It isn't an issue for me and the zipper has never split while being carried.
I've traveled around the world a couple times with these in luggage and never had a problem with scratching, slipping, or shattered disks.
Highly recommended!

What our customer's say!

"CD Album overpriced about 1000 percent", These albums (which are made in China) are given away for free in China when you buy 10 copy DVD's. The DVD's cost about a dollar each, so for a $10 purchase you get one of these for free. Must be quite a markup to get to $25.

"nice case", For those who prefer to keep the cd booket (paper) with the associated cd, me, something to keep in mind: you greatly decrease the number stored--by approximately half. The good news is that the cd and booklet fit in one pocket, snug, but most booklets or whatever documentation are close to cd width or more and therefore the math simple. Unfortunately, I neglected to do the math before hand.

Mentioned to save others from happily loading the badboy with 224 discs and docs only to find NO chance of getting the zipper even started. By the way, at ~half it is snug so not much room for expansion. NOTE: assumption that using zipper for intended purpose important--to close and zip the case.

This item has a very firm/solid exterior case with what I consider a handle to be trusted--no problem with the handle as I have seen regarding other cases. The pages are NOT designed for removal as some prefer--appears to be combo stitched and glued.

The pockets have a nice soft backing for the discs so scratch potential minimized.

Minus my preference to keep the discs with the booklet, this is the best cd/dvd disc carrier I have seen for less than $50. I have 3 and now looking for more.

"Very durable CD Wallet", The material and make are really good. The CD pages are not at all flimsy. The only draw back to the cast is that the pages aren't removeable. I like how it contains a small cloth to clean the CDs.

"Fellowes Nylon CD Wallet 224 disc", This is a nice case for the money with loads of capacity.

"Holds Lots of CD's", This is a very easy and neat way to store your CD's. If there is any problem at all, it is that it holds so many that it is quite heavy when full.

"Good Massive Storage for CD's", Provides good protection from the usual bumps and grinds. But you still need to keep it out of the sunlight! COMMON SENSE PREVAILS!
Well made, good quality.

"solid quality. reasonably priced", What can you really say about a CD case? Well, for one thing, the price for these things have really come down over the years. I remember when a large capacity case such as this one used to cost up to 50 bucks(!), which, in my opinion, was way overpriced. I'm glad to see that the price has dropped to a reasonable level. I like this case. It's easy to retrieve and insert CDs from and back into the pages. The outside material feels better than the old- school faux leather. So, if you're in the market for a case to store all your freshly ripped music and flicks, this is a good choice for the frugal shoppers.

"Strong, Functional and Excellent value for money.", This review is about the Fellowes 224 CD Wallet.

Having had the product for a few days now and having organized about a 100+ Audio CDs, 10 to 15 DVDs, Home Videos, Software and Driver CDs, etc. In all about a couple of hundred discs, here's what I think of the product.

Pros:
Good quality material and excellent construction quality makes this a very strong CD wallet. The carrying handle and the attached CD wipe cloth are neat touches. The CD wallet has strong, hard frame forming the face, back and spine of the wallet, giving an all around rigidity to the wallet. The CD sleeve pages have a capacity of 8 discs (4 on each side) and are sewn onto the spine of the wallet. The quality of the sewing is very robust and the pages can easily take the weight of 8 discs. Each disc sleeve has a cut (unlike the older Fellowes model) from the center to the top of the sleeve making removal of the discs very easy. The back of the sleeve that will be in contact with the face of the disc is soft enough. Each disc fits snugly into the sleeve and I doubt whether any discs would fall off easily regardless of the orientation of the wallet. This is a very nice touch because it's very normal that the orientation of the wallet changes planes quite a lot during handling and last thing one would want is having to put back all the discs. The zipper operates pretty smoothly. Looks wise, this wallet is not bad either, the strong frame giving a nice shape to the wallet and a nice texture to the nylon.

Cons or Areas for Improvement.
In my case I identified five different categories of discs - movies, home videos/photo discs, music, software, toddler play and learn. So I started organizing movies from the front and music from the back in one wallet. In the other I started home videos/photo CD from the front and software, toddler play and learn from the back. Unfortunately, I didn't have any way of indexing these built into the CD wallet. A big see thru plastic sleeve (that would take an A4 size print of an index I could maintain) would be a great addition. It would be great if the sleeves were numbered (just like a phone diary) which would help in indexing. A zippered page at the end with one big empty pocket would be great value add that would take all the folds, prints, literature that comes with some discs. Maybe a felt tip pen holder would do too! The zipper of the wallet does not open completely preventing the wallet from opening up completely. Though this might be intentional so as to prevent the two sides from opening up completely (the sides do open up to an angle of about 160 degrees which is good enough), but this did at time brought some extra pressure on the zipper wherein the two sides pulled on the slider at the end. Last but not the least, it would have been a great help if the outside of the CD wallet had small see thru pockets for case labeling. In my case, since both look the same, it was difficult to identify which wallet contains what. Pasted a stick on label and problem solved, but could do with something more permanent.

Concluding, let me again emphasize that this is indeed a durable and very functional CD wallet at a very attractive price-point (I got on sale)

"good for the price", I really needed some more caselogics, but they aren't always on sale. So I decided to go with Fellowes for a try. Thank god they have redesigned this! The old style of the disc sleeve used to have a slit down the center to slide discs out. Many people hated this, and I guess Fellowes realized. You can still see the old design on amazon's pic. The new design is about the same as caselogic, but the mouth is slight wider. My only concern is the plastic sleeve is not as thick as caselogics, but for the price, who cares. I'm gonna use this to hold my old discs.

"Great way to organize your CD/DVD Collection", This organizer is probably one of the better constructed ones on the market. True, it is not the best looking and at times even feels poorly built, but it holds up pretty well.

I prefer this organizer because of its binding. Organizers with riveted, ring-binder style binding, etc. tend to give way very quickly. Fellowes bindings have multiple points of contact and are very durable.

Another important thing for me is access to my media. I hate badly designed organizers, whose zippers sratch my media while trying to remove or put media back. This organizer has been designed to permit the least amount of interference.

For those who need more assurance, Fellowes makes all (gorgeous!) CD organizers for Body Glove.

One star for the blandness in looks and the not-so-tough "looking" zipper...I prefer the Body Glove zippers.
