"Nice Quality 2.1 Sound, for the $$$$$", I bought these to replace a set of Dell speakers that came with the computer(the dell speakers were generic, & were terrible)
I paid $65.99 almost 2 years ago for these so $29.00 is more than fair, for the quality of sound you get.,

The bass sound from the Sub-Woofer is full, deep, and has quite a punch, for the size.(I feel the vibrations off the wood floor, the it sits on.) It won't sound as anywhere as good on your desktop, but it is possible.

The left & right, speakers, are clear, even when you start to max them out, they never make those squeally, distortion, plastic vibrating noises I have heard from other brands.

I have used these with a Creative 128PCI
2.1 capable sound card.

Pros: Clear, crisp, hign-mids, & deep bass responce!

Cons: White(they get dirty fast)I have sanded, & painted mine, black to match my Tower, Monitor Keyboard, Etc,

If you are looking for a 2.1 sound solution, that will fill any small-mid sized room, with higher than average sound these are for you.

"For the price...", For the price, these speakers are great! I have them for my notebook computer at school, and they are perfect for my dorm. For the price, these speakers are excellent!

"Great Speakers !!", These speakers are great, they're actually louder than my home strereo speakers and the separate bass control is cool. These are very high quality speakers at an affordable price, they look nice too.

"Replacement speakers still BUZZZZZZZING!@#$@!!%^!", I had these speakers replaced because of the irritating buzzing sound emenating from the woofer. The replacement set still "buzzes" continuously. I have to turn them off when they're not in use so the sound doesn't drive me crazy. I'll just cut my losses and get something else. Don't buy these speakers!

"Improved sound at a great price", The speakers that came with my HP Pavillion were pathetically poor--the sound was distorted, volume was limited, and they were filled with garbage noise. After three calls to tech help, I decided to try these Micro Innovations speakers (the return policy makes the effort foolproof.) I'm very pleased. The sound is clear and crisp (you have to adjust the controls on the speakers AND on the pc); it fills the room; there's no distortion. Of course you could buy a better system for more $, but these are truly a deal.

"BBBUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!", No matter where I plugged these in they buzzed. I tried every outlet in the house, computer on or not. Returned. I think they axed my coupon too.

"Want some cheap but effective 3d sound setup?", I got a sounblaster live! xgamer and wanted to get a cheap pair of speakers to test out 3d sound - before deciding whether to invest in one of those fancy Cambridge soundworks 5.1 surround setups.

This setup works! a couple of powered harmon kardon speakers behind me, subwoofer from this setup in the corner and the two satellites on the desk. Crisp, deep and booming and yes, 3d sound!

Unreal Tournament will never be the same.

"Best deal you can get", Simply put, these blow my old speakers away. They cost less than many speaker sets you'll find that don't even include a subwoofer. The only thing I don't like is that they don't have rubber pads on the bottom to keep them from sliding around. They fill the room with sound; I can finally over-power my rommate's (mac) speakers. The subwoofer is the perfect size; you can put it on the desk or the floor. You'll never be able to find better speakers for the price.

"Good inexpensive speakers", If you're an audiophile, you know from the price tag that you should look elsewhere. But if you're a slightly-more-than-casual user, this a great set. The sound is immensely better than those cheap little speakers that came with your PC. The tweeters perform quite nicely, and the subwoofer does its job well. At this price, it's a steal.

A few niggling issues: It would be nice to have the volume control on the regular speakers as opposed to the subwoofer, or at least the headphone jack. I find myself adjusting the volume with my toe and never plugging in headphones.

But other than that, this is a highly serviceable system that should serve your gaming/music listening needs quite well, unless you are an audiophile or need substantially improved performance. I'm not and I don't, and I think that most home users are in the same boat.

"very good buy for the money", I was running stock speakers on my computer and decided to give theses a try. I am very satisfied. The Bass isn't deep but there is a definate difference for the better. Music sounds a lot better and games are a lot cooler now. For the money you can't go wrong. Took all of 2 minutes to hook up and get going. Very satisfied and would definatley reccomend for anyone who does not want to spend a lot and still get some bass. I also get better "highs" from the small speakers than I did than with my old ones.
